Odst Al Madinah Hotel

Great stay at a reasonablu priced hotel. Food variety was not great though. But probably ok for most other patrons as majority are here for religious reasons rather than their tummies.

This hotel dosnt deserve even 1⭐️. If you want to do a favour for them pls visit them but they won't need you at all. I will share my experience. You decide the rest. One of the dirtiest hotel in my life. No water bottles. No wifi range. no Ironing facility. No towel, No tissue, No soap, No shampoo nothing in room, nothing in washroom. I called 3 time to room service no one show up.. Rusted bathroom ameneties. Television without channels. Dirty and cobwebs and bad odor in the room. Arab ladies in the reception are very rude and not cooperative. No one listen you..no service at all. Rush always and noisy. No telephone. Oldest cracked rooms. I booked for 5 days through *********** once I reached dthey said we don't have room available pls take this which is avialbe on 2 bed instead we book 3 bed room. They said pls take or ill cancell. They treat you as they are doing favour on you...Useless. Please don't book even 100SAR

I would stay away from booking with this hotel and its parent company. The cost of the room and poor service doesn’t reflect the cost they charge so it’s poor value for money especially for western travellers who are used to good standard of service. when I challenged about the long wait to check in which was about 30 minutes and incorrect room given to me, I was told to to relax or I would not get a room. I didn’t want to give any star to this hotel but I had click to proceed further. The only good thing is it’s very close to the Haram and conveniences.

Worst Hotel Ever, just came back from Makkah or 5 ghante intezar Karne Kai baad bhi na travel agent Ka Kuch pata hai bar bar yahi keh Raha hai Kai rooms ki safaye hurahe hai staff is not cooperative at alll worst Hotel ever. Highly Not Recommended

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Odst Hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Basic amenities such as water, tea, coffee, towels, and toiletries were not readily available in the room. I had to specifically request for these items, and even then, it was disappointing to find that the kettle provided was not functional. The room I was assigned to was not up to par in terms of cleanliness. floors were dirty, and dust could be seen on the windowsills and bed surfaces, and the floor could have been cleaner. Additionally, I found that the room was not sound-proof, which led to a disturbed night's sleep due to excessive noise from both inside and outside the hotel. On top of that, there were ongoing construction works nearby that added to the noise levels. Furthermore, there was no telephone in the room, no iron and no remote for the television. Taking all these factors into consideration, I cannot recommend Odst Hotel for a comfortable stay. Based on my experience, I believe that Odst Hotel falls short of its claimed 4-star rating. In all honesty, I believe it falls more in line with a 1-star rating.

I will keep the review short despite having many things to say. Simply terrible place to stay avoid at all cost. Its in need of renovation. The place is dirty and unhygienic. Our room was dirty, dusty and noisy. Despite complaining to reception we were not given a different room. There is no customer care the staff at reception are unhelpful. The building works and traffic kept us awake at night.

There were lots and lots of guests in the lobby, and while waiting to check in, people kept cutting in line, asking the front desk questions. There were only 2 ladies at the front desk, and although I was getting really frustrated because of the long wait, I can't really fault the staff. They seemed really annoyed too with the rude guests who kept cutting in line. I don't understand why there were only 2 staff at front desk when it was so busy. So this staffing issue is the real problem. When I finally checked in, I was told the king bed I'd booked was not available, and that I would have 2 single beds. I was also told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to come back in an hour (it must've already been around 3:30 or 4pm, and my room SHOULD have been ready). Instead of waiting around and wasting time (there were no available seats in the lobby anyways), I asked to leave my big suitcase behind the front desk, and I had to walk around the city carrying my big knapsack, which wasn't ideal. The room was very small, which wasn't a big deal, but the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. The toilet seat was wet, there was a hair on it, and I also found another hair in the sink. There was a window, but it was boarded up, with only a tiny opening. At least the bedsheets seemed to be clean.

Absolutely poor service hotel was booked by travel agents when arrived 2 am they had cancelled the booking did not care at all had to book another hotel for the night travel agents dealt with the situation managed to check in next day at 4pm ....reception and staff really need to learn how to talk to customer no skill at all ....avoid this hotel .....spend abit more and go else where.

Worst experience ever. Rude and misbehaving staff, no amnesties no cleanliness for all three nights we stayed. Dirtiest rooms no towels and no towel papers were provided. Check in time was 4.00pm and we were refused at 4.00pm despite booking many days in advance, they asked no room available (how on earth it’s possible). After all efforts we could check in at 8.30pm. Saudi ministry of tourism should take notice of such below par hotels - total shame
