This was our second stay and like the first time, we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, the location to Mayrhofen centre or to water park is simply brilliant. The views from the windows are awesome. Staff is super friendly and always helpful. Breakfast offers range of choices, but the choice of freshly made eggs is unbeatable. The restaurant in the gasthof offers fantastic and delicious meals for a great price. In addition you get a guest card and you can go to the water park with discount (winter) or free (summer). We definitely recommend this place!

We went there 3 times during our holiday. Each time the food was great and the portion was huge. New York cheesecake is also excellent. It’s a must try. The staff is so kind, they gave us a great service. The Hungarian waiter was the best we have met in the region.

Michael and his staff provided an amazing week. The location was perfect, short walk to the gondola. The food was delicious, fresh baked pastries every morning breakfast, as well as warm hearty meals after days on the mountain. The restaurant has a warm feeling and looks out onto an ice skating rink. The schnapps were top notch

Hier passt jetzt wirklich alles. Ob Zimmer, Personal, Essen, Ambiance und alles weitere einfach nur Top !! Zudem hat das Wetter auch noch mitgespielt, rundum wunderbaren Urlaub genossen, Dankeschön an das ganze Waldcafé team für euere Bemühungen. Gerne bis zum nächsten Mal, Lieben Gruss......auch Knödel !

Wir hatten ein super schönes, großes Doppelzimmer mit Bergblick. Ruhige Lage aber trotzdem zentral. Das Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen. Eierspeisen wurden frisch und individuell zubereitet. Das gesamte Team ist super nett und der Chef nimmt sich für alle Gäste persönlich Zeit um Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflüge zu geben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Unschlagbares Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Das Einzelzimmer war sehr komfortabel und das Frühstücksbuffet hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Das Restaurant selbst war jeden Abend sehr gut besucht, wovon man allerdings an der Lautstärke nichts gemerkt hat, so still war es auf dem Zimmer. Auch das Personal war ausnahmslos freundlich. Absolut perfekt als Basis für einen Urlaub voller Bergtouren und Entspannung!

De prijskwaliteit klopte! Eenvoudig hotelletje... Inrichting zoals je verwacht in Oostenrijk... Rustig gelegen aan rand vt bos... Op loop afstand v dorpje en Pinkenbahn... Michael maakte altijd ff tijd(ondanks dat hij het die week druk had met verzorgen van lunch voor meer dan 100 kinderen v t voetbalkamp)om n praatje te maken of ons van tips te voorzien en uit te leggen van mooie wandelroutes in de buurt.. We kregen bij aankomst n kortingskaart voor de liften..waar we dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt hebben... Verder kregen we ook nog n kaart voor gratis toegang van de tennisbaan en t zwembad die beiden grenzen aan t Waldcafe (wij hebben er geen gebruik v gemaakt) Vriendelijk personeel... Onze kamer...nr 1 op de begane grond was erg ruim en schoon... Wij hebben savonds vaak gezellig op t terras zitten borrelen in de schaduw met nog 3 Limburgse gasten... Het ontbijt was prima lekkere verse broodjes...grote pluspunt dat ze iedere morgen kwamen vragen hoe je t eitje gebakken wilde hebben of liever gekookt: heerlijk..! als ik dan 1puntje v kritiek zou moeten geven zou ik degen die voor t vers fruit moet zorgen daar meer aandacht aan mogen schenken ... Wij hebben alleen de eerste avond gegeten...(omdat wij t gewoon leuk vinden om iedere avond ergens anders te jeen te gaan) Maar de pasta met zalm was echt heerlijk... Als we nog eens naar Mayrhofen willen om te wandelen komen we graag hier terug

Es war ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Ruhige Lage. Das Restaurant und das Frühstück waren sehr gut. Alle im Team sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Bier war sehr kühl und hat daher auch sehr gut geschmeckt.

Leuk hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Uitbater Michael is echt een manus van alles die zijn uiterste best doet om het naar je zin te maken. Het eten is basic maar heel lekker, vooral de sauzen ! Eenvoudig ontbijtbuffet maar alles is aanwezig om de dag goed te starten. De kamers heeft voldoende confort en voor deel is dat je ook het toilet van het restaurant kan gebruiken. Goede ligging vlakbij de Pinken- en Ahornlift. Prijs/kwaliteit een aanrader.
