We stayed for 2 nights and wished we stayed longer! Room was spacious and clean with an amazing view on the high floor. We had dinner buffet at Weligama Kitchen and food was great! Breakfast served there was delicious with great variety from Western , Asian, Indian but the Sri Lankan style breakfast was the best! Tide Bar is a great place to relax and have drinks with scrumptious snack too. We spent most of our time at the resort and it was very relaxing. The environment was suitable for couples and family at the same time. Lastly, service was top notch, everyone was friendly and helpful. TK and Kalpani from Weligama kitchen always checking on us, Sachinthaka , Asanka and Dharmika from Tides always cheerful and greeting us when we head there for drinks. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends visiting beautiful Sri Lanka!

Superb very clean well maintained hotel. Staff is very friendly. Mouthwatering food. beach is very clean and all stakeholders including all other hotels and surf schools are taking care of it. One can surf either side of the hotel beaches. Very safe and well maintained swimming pool add more glamor. Anyhow prices are very unreasonable. A water bottle cost me Rs 650 and the same brand of it , within 100 meters from hotel was only Rs 120. For our first lunch cost us Rs 33,000+ as they refused to add that to FB saying it starts from Dinner!! but since we had one dinner out side and skipped the lunch the day we departed, altered bill from full board to HF , reduction was only 4000+/day. This is absurd and we have never experience such in any other place. Such pricing may get them quick returns but ruined their reputation much quicker. So plan your budget so that you don't have any regret of extras.

This hotel is right on the beach & has a nice swimmingpool. Location was fab, quiet part of the beach, short walk into Weligama & a short tuktukride away from Mirissa. The buildings look shabby and not well maintained but room was nice enough. It was a small chalet overlooking the pool with your own terrace. Fridge in the room including drinks for a fair price and complimentary bottle of water. Electric kettle but lack of electronic sockets, I ended up charging my phone on the terrace. Bathroom needs an update/some paint but nice shower including hot water. AC/fan/working wifi and mosquito nets. If they invest in it this place could look really good. Hotel was fairly quiet when I was there. I heard they do lots of package deals with Germans/Russians, menu was listed in German too (only time I've seen this in Sri Lanka). Food was average but OK. Lots of dogs and cats on the grounds they sleep everywhere but none of them bothered me, they must get food from the hotel. Laundry was very expensive (5k) but the room was really cheap, was referred by locals who negotiated for me. In the room next to me were drivers who got an even better price! There was a great spot for drinks/rotis on the beach a few mins away in direction of Weligama. Few surfschools just on the beach. Would stay again, good value for money but would check how busy it is. Staff was friendly, only reception did not speak English very well. Tuktuk drivers outside ask way too much, start with 50% of what they ask...

The ac takes a while to cool the rooms, the shower was a lil complicated to work at first. It got air-locked and the lights in the room were flickering while the shower was in use, which was a lil freaky. There were no coffee sachets in the room, or creamer; just sugar and tea bags, which was very disappointing to me to a coffee drinker. The room was clean, except for d cushion covers which were stained. The food was nice..we checked in at 4 pm when d restaurant was closed, but they were nice enough to whip up something for us to eat. The breakfast was decent, eggs to order, toast n fruit. I really liked the roof restaurant, it was a nice place to chill. The staff r friendly and very accommodating. Overall, it was average. Don't expect too much for the price you pay!

The rooms are located on the 2nd floor. The noise from the food is strong, wake up in the morning. The room is only bed and there is a shower and a washing machine is smelly. On the 1st floor the kitchen is not possible, but it is impossible to cook, dirty and constantly the hosts sit there. Internet is not available. The bed is smelling.
