Hotel Chadstone Melbourne - MGallery

For $400 a night - there are issues. The room lights were so high tech that we could not turn them off or control them in any way we wanted. We were not drunk btw. A lovely person from reception came to turn off the lights so we could sleep. The lights also randomly turned off when we weren't moving enough in the room. Silly to use this system in a hotel. I would get breakfast in the Shop Centre next time. the hotel can't cope with the numbers and it's a very strange crowded food set up with average food. Luke warm lattes. Waited 15mins to be seated at breakfast table, when pre-paid, so they knew the numbers coming. Its very much a family destination, which is great, but the pool on this weekend was full of kids at 7.00pm. I don't think a quiet swim with a view is an option on weekends. It also seems weird that we had to pay for parking when we had shopped all day in the centre. Food and drinks are well priced - I would go again, but will wait for a cheaper deal to make up for the cons.

The hotel is very good, the environment is very clean and very comfortable. There are two railway stations nearby (10-15 minutes walk). It is also close to Monash University. There are also Chinese restaurants and supermarkets near the train station. There are also many parking spaces. Good place to stay in school (the family room is very spacious and the toilet is good)

I stayed here with my partner and my youngest son for my birthday weekend. Hotel staff were beautiful and welcoming me with a gift basket gor my birthday. Amazing room and so comfy and clean. S bit noisy though. I would have expected thicker paned windows to block put noise however that was only draw back. I had the best birthday I'd had in yea rs...thanks sebel will definately be back
