Maison Haas Hustinx & Spa

Maastricht|1.57km from Brusselse Poort
As in many European cities this hotel is the result of a conversion of old buildings with some additions. This makes the whole atmosphere very cozy and charming and in touch with what you would expect when visiting Maastricht. The location is perfect facing de Virjthof square, with a municipal parking garage just crossing the street and in the middle of everything worth visiting in the city. Lot of restaurants just around the corners. We had a superior suite, generous in size, with a bathroom with an unusual layout due to the bedroom being in what I guess was a former dining room. The shower cabin was very nice and everything worked well. AC with 2 equipments in bedroom and living room worked well as did internet. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Served not in a buffet style because the hotel is very small, but with high quality ingredientes and everything you might desire. The guy running the breakfast was very kind and efficient. Check out was done quickly and with no problems. Check in could have been more explicit regarding information about certain limitations of the hotel having nobody in reception after 18:00. Concierge service is non existent. The Spa is in the modern add on building. Tasteful, modern, with a plunge pool and saunas, it makes a good impression. At night the breakfast room is used as a restaurant with a charming patio. Conclusion : a charming European boutique hotel with modern amenities, modern decor, housed in old preserved buildings, with a nice spa, limited reception service and very good breakfast.

EasyHotel Maastricht City Centre

Easy hotel is what it claims to be. Functional and cheap. Some reviewers comment on the small rooms, but that's clear on the website of the hotel. The reception is manned 24/7. There is a vending machine and coffee station at the reception. After check out one can use the large lockers for €3 to store any bags. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The rooms have nice showers and the temperature can be regulated too. For the price, the hotel is a good deal. Many rooms have wonderful views of the waterfront. An ideal base for a short trip to the city. Perfect for a single person or 2 people sharing the room.

There is a paid parking lot and breakfast is average. But the price is still decent. The location is not far from the center. Close to the river.

Let's start why we give only 4 points in this review:When booking a valetparking service for 45 euro a day, knowing that the reception staff can see on their camera who is arriving in front of the hotel,I expect somebody coming out and helping us for the luggage. It's a 5 star hotel and this is not the usual Marriott service. We reserved lunch at Spencer's but they serve you in the lobby next to the reception. No service for lunch upstairs in the main restaurant. They should prevent guests about this. No sink in the toilet of the Kruisherensuite..... The positive aspects: Stunning overall design an clean.Perfect service once you enter the lobby.Staff very kind and professional.Breakfast Buffet as well as dinner at Spencer's perfect. Amazing innercourt with openair bar. We got the Kruisherensuite that is the biggest of the hotel.Topdesign with double sinks free standing bathtube and italian double shower.Beds Kingsize.Minibar NOT complimentary.A NO GO for this type of accommodation. One bottle of still water per day.Unfortunately the separate Toilet has no sink. We recommand this hotel nevertheless hoping that somebody will be there next time to help with the luggage on arrival
Hotel Monastère Maastricht

Yes, the hotel is in the old town, wherever it is convenient, it is an old monastery remodeled. There is a Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel. The key is that Maastricht is very beautiful, there are not many people visiting in winter, and even less Chinese tour groups. Because of the junction of the three cities of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, it is very international. Shopping is great, Belgians are running over to buy things. Classical architecture, beautiful lakes, and the “Paradise Bookstore” rebuilt by the church.

I booked a deluxe one-bedroom room. The room is big and touching The poor size of European hotels everyone knows In fact, the concept of the hotel is similar to that of a shared apartment. The design is popular in Northern Europe + industry in recent years, suitable for online celebrities to take pictures. The location is great. It takes only 10 minutes to go to the city center to eat, drink and buy. The cafe downstairs, the organic supermarket, and the surrounding restaurants and cafes The hotel was rebuilt based on a porcelain burning factory, so it is very fashionable with the new and the old~ The concept focuses on ”students” sharing, so the hotel service staff are more friendly and casual I gave an ice cream when I checked in. The details are pretty cute. Still have to pay attention: laundry and ironing can only go to the unified laundry room on the first floor of the hotel Laundry, coin-operated self-service type, ironing clothes, there are equipment at will
