it was a very bad experience in this hotel, the bathroom is flooding after taking shower since the water drain so slow. Even one night no hot water provide, and my boss room suddenely no electricity. there are few steps to the escalator in the lobby, it is not convenient to take the heavy luggage up the steps. the only one good thing is the breakfast, many choices. All of us dont think it is worth of this hotel. not recommand at all. very disappointed

The hotel is in a great location, facing the river, with a nice view and is big enough. The handle of the wardrobe in the room is the head of the ”Little Prince”, and there are also pictures of the Little Prince and the author on the wall, which is nice~

The room has a great view and is in a convenient location. It is close to the train station and convenient for walking around. The entrance to a large shopping mall is right next to the downstairs. Tax refunds are also very convenient. The hotel staff, including the breakfast staff, are very good. The breakfast is quite rich and the environment is open until 11 o'clock. Even the laziest people don't have to worry about time.

The Okko hotel staff went above and beyond to help us when we lost our passport and had to cancel one night of hotel stay to go to Paris embassy. They were understanding, let us use our room charge to purchase items from their store and helped us translate and speak to individuals. I’m very impressed and the club amenities were convenient with free flow drinks and snacks. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Lyon!

The transportation is convenient. The room is very clean and tidy. The staff is friendly. I recommend this hotel. It is very cost-effective.

We drove there by ourselves and arrived at the hotel very late. There is a mall next to it, which is very convenient for eating and watching movies. The breakfast at the hotel is also very rich. We also had authentic French dinner at the restaurant the next day.

The hotel is just opposite the train station. You can see Campanile when you look up. Please note that the check-in time of this hotel is very punctual at 14:00. If you come early, you must wait until 2 o'clock to check in. Even a minute earlier is not allowed. The location is convenient, right next to the train station (Gare de part Dieu). The closest train station exit is only a 30-second walk from the hotel entrance, so it is very easy to find! However, due to security reasons, you have to ring the bell first and the door will open only after getting approval. (The receptionist at a nearby shopping mall said that the area near the train station is indeed more dangerous after dark) The room is large and has all the necessary equipment, but the bathroom is designed like a public shower room without a bathtub. This is a bit unreasonable for the price of this room, but the bathroom is quite spacious. The light in the bathroom was broken when I entered. I asked at the front desk and a maintenance man quickly came to change the light bulb. It took him two trips to fix it. He is probably the most polite person I have ever met in France. The room overlooks the train station and some of Lyon's attractions. Since the windows are double-layered, there is no need to worry about being disturbed by noise. The hotel breakfast selection is not rich, but the taste is acceptable. There are shopping malls and a large number of various shops and restaurants nearby to meet general needs. Since the hotel is located close to the city's transportation hub, it is convenient to use different means of transportation to reach scenic spots in and around the city. Walking to the old city is not far away as expected.

We stayed at a double room in the Sofitel in Lyon for a total of 3 nights in the summer of 2023. The hotel is located just a few streets from the Place Bellecour which is one of the main squares in Lyon. It is also about 5 minutes away from many cafes, bistros and a large supermarket (Monop’) near Place Bellecour. The room itself was a fairly standard double room (approximately 20 square metres). The interior and furnishings of the hotel look a bit dated but they were fine and did not matter in any material way. The minibar is complimentary and it is restocked daily with bottled water (still and sparkling), fruit juice, coca cola, and dried fruits and nuts. The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were firm. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very consistent and it would turn off in the middle of the night. It is not an issue if you are staying here in the winter but it made it difficult to sleep at night in the summer. The staff were all very nice and pleasant. The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day. We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price.
