The room is clean, the towels are quite white, it is an old-fashioned hotel, the elevator is very small, and it can only accommodate two people with a suitcase. The attitude of the front desk clerk was very good. We asked a lot of questions and answered them patiently. The location of the hotel is very good. There is a subway exit within 2 minutes of going out. It is convenient to go to the train station and the airport. It also takes 20 minutes to walk to Big Ben and about 15 minutes to Harrods. shopping is very convenient. The hotel does not have a parking lot and is not suitable for self-driving.

The lift was broken and we have to walk up four floors to get to our room. The room and the ensuite were very small. The free breakfast was only continental and the pastries were dry! The only good thing, it was clean!

This one is a keeper. Particularly next door to Gloucester Rd tube (Piccadilly, Circle, Direct). Very well appointed outside and in. There was a family feel to the hotel. Staff very friendly. Ground floor reception, pleasant bar and restaurant which in its own right is the Light of India Indian restaurant. And the breakfast was great. Room was more than adequate great nights sleep. Well positioned for museums, Royal Albert Hall, Knightsbridge. Great value for money. Will be back.

Nice Hotel - cold in my room, bed alright - not the best, but okey. Bathroom old but useful. Comfort was okey. For my short stay, it was okey, but if i should stay 2-3 for days, i maybe find somthing whith more comfort and not so cold in my room. Breakfast was really not so good for a Hotel. The service was in top.

Rooms were incredibly dated and had a bad lingering smell. We spent 5 nights here and it was a major regret. We tried to spend as little time at the hotel as possible as the bathroom shower was covered in mold. All of the sealant around the base was moldy and in general the rooms felt unclean. Ripped curtains, old carpet and the bedding was well worn. From the outside the building looks great, but once inside, and especially the rooms it’s clear things haven’t been updated in a really long time. The only upside to this place is the location to the tube, made getting around really easy! I would highly suggest the neighborhood, but not this property. I’m surprised to see so many highly rated reviews.

What a dandy hotel room for three travelers.
Comfy temperature. Excellent check-in.
Great beds. We didn't get the t.v. or in-room phone to work, but had hot showers, good electrical plug-ins, an iron and blowdryer.
Super location with handy underground and bus transport. It is gem.

We liked the people there, everyone was helpful and very polite. The location is excellent, the Tube only 2 minutes away and a 10 minute walk from the V&A and other museums, the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park.
We didn't like that the shower room was incredibly tiny and it was almost impossible to sit on the toilet, the sealant around the shower tray was full of mold. The sheets seemed clean, but the carpet and the curtains didn't look clean at all. The mattress on the bed was old, soft and extremely unconfortable. The furniture was all very old and dingy. Breakfast was basic and if you wanted a cooked breakfast they would charge even more. In short, the only thing we liked was the location. Given the price, anyone would expect a lot more.
