This hotel is located right at Leidongping Station. It is perfect if you want to hike early in the morning to catch the sunrise in Golden Summit. If you are a foreigner, you will be hosted with a big smile and a caring attitude. - Staff: very lovely and kind people. - Room: despite being a bit old, it was clean, tidy, spacious and cozy. - Food: we ate there and the food was delicious. The restaurant could be a little cleaner but to be fair it was already end of the night when we had dinner. - Location: perfect! The bus will leave you just across the street and the Cable Car (or the hiking start) to Golden Summit is super close. Great place to spend a night or two if you want to go to Golden Summit.

Must praise! ! ! Leidongping Minsheng Hotel in Mount Emei Scenic Area, I booked with my friends on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The location of the hotel is better when you get off near the parking lot. The rooms are large and clean. There is also a wake-up service in the morning. It's not bad. The location is opposite the station. It's very convenient to take a sightseeing bus up the mountain. Get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise. You can walk to the entrance of the ropeway in 20 minutes. There is food in the lobby of the hotel. The taste is okay, but the water for bathing is small Well, maybe it’s like this on the mountain. It’s also very convenient to go to the ski resort. In terms of location, Leidongping is relatively good. The mountain is full of snow, which is really beautiful.

The location is what makes you stay here. The hotel is otherwise basic for the price - but it was clean, comfy and came with amazing views (when it briefly cleared) and a very short walk up stairs to see the sunrise/sunset and statue. A table of sunrise and sunset times is posted - arrive early if you want a front row view. Breakfast was basic but sufficient and plentiful. Recommend packing light and only taking up the mountain what you need for your stay as there’s a lot of stairs. While the staff did speak some English (much more than my Chinese) a translation app is highly recommended if you don’t speak the language.

I rarely make comments, so I have to talk about it seriously this time. The reception service was fine and the location outstanding. Considering the price of the room however, we were very disappointed to see a piece of old food in the middle of the floor when we entered. The bathroom sink was unusable because the plug was stuck. Basic things - which are common enough in many other hotels - such as coffee sachets, cups and teaspoons, were missing. Complaints aside, the room and view was pleasant enough indeed. As a frequent and experienced hotel user I would value the room at about 2-300 yuan per person per night. Which is much much less than what I paid, but its location is obviously worth paying for.

The heating in the room is very sufficient, hot water is available quickly, and you can see the snow-capped mountains through the window in the early morning🏔️. You can order food in the hotel at night. I thought the stir-fried dishes in the scenic area would be average, but I didn’t expect the dry pot dishes to be delicious. There seems to be a supply of boiling water, and there are power banks in the lobby, which saved me the trouble of forgetting to bring a charger😩. It's very convenient to watch the sunrise. It's a good time to have breakfast after watching the sunrise, and you can also have a good sleep after eating.
