L'hôtel est bien situé : à quelques minutes en voiture de la gare de train de Saint-Hyacinthe et en bordure de l'autoroute 20. L'hôtel partage le stationnement avec plusieurs restaurants et commerces. Il a cinq minutes en voiture d'un gros centre d'achats et à une dizaine de minutes de parc Salines qui contient une glissades sur tube et des sentiers de skis de fond.
Le Holiday Inn Express a des chambres spacieuses avec des lits et des oreillers confortables. La piscine a une bonne température mais aurait besoin de quelques rénovations.
Il n'y a pas de restaurant sur place mais un buffet chaud est offert pour déjeuner. Il était constamment rempli et la nouriture est bien et variées. Dans l'ensemble, le personnel est bienveillant et à l'écoute des clients.
Notre chambre était située côté autoroute. C'était hyper bruyant, nous nous sommes fait réveiller par le bruit des camions qui passaient à toute allure. Aussi, notre chambre a manqué d'eau chaude. Quand nous en avons fait par au personnel de l'accueil, il nous a changé de chambre.
Nous avons passé un beau séjour.

Très bel établissement, propre, grande chambre bien aménagée. Le personnel est très courtois, très serviable. On nous a même offert un sac de gâteries pour notre chien. Tous les chiens sont acceptés et bien traités. Le petit-déjeuner compris était parfait avec beaucoup de choix de nourriture froide ou chaude. Très bon. J’y retournerais sans hésiter.

We travelled with our cat. I really liked the bathroom in our room. It was very spacious: there was lots of counter space for our toiletries and the cat's stuff. The floor was clean. Lots of room to have the cat's carrier beside the bathtub area and still get around the room. Grab bars in the tub could have been higher!
Very very comfortable pillows!
The window sill was almost wide enough to accommodate the large carrier we have for our cat. She enjoyed watching the traffic out the window while I supported the carrier at the edge.
She stays in her carrier when in the main room in any hotel so she doesn't venture under/behind the bed or other furniture. Having the bed on a platform with no spaces would be a great idea. The rest of the furniture was very close to the wall so that a cat could not get behind it.
There was lots of counter and bench space in the main room, by the way.
Breakfast was mini omelets with green peppers: tasty.
The only thing keeping this from a truly excellent experience was a noisy party about 1:35 am which woke us up out out of a sound sleep. The noise went on for half an hour or so. I didn't like to confront the (likely inebriated) people!
Very handy to Exit 98 to Highway 30 for an early morning departure, when the (Sunday) traffic was lighter.
We'll be back- just crossing our fingers there is no noisy party that night.

The hotel is right besides the highway. There’s some road noise all the time but it’s not too bad. But for a dad car enthusiast there’s plenty of cool car passing by.
