該民宿酒店位於西江千户苗寨西門地區，但是從荔波縣小七孔景區坐班車過來時途經西門卻無法停車衹能到北門口。從北門口衹能買50元的索道來回票（因為離開西江千户苗寨去黔東南州首府凱裏市坐火車返程時，也衹能從千户苗寨的西門回到北門口的旅遊客運站坐車去凱裏市）到達西門，但是從西門檢票口進來還要拉着行李走一公里，到了西江西門民族特色餐飲街牌坊處再往裡麪走200米遠才能到該客棧，如果來的時候途經該牌坊或附近的地方時能停車就方便了很多。旅遊旺季加上貴州省暑期各景點門票半價優惠促銷，西江千户苗寨的人潮洶湧，住宿價格也是翻了幾倍，酒店是民宿性質條件一般，沒有電梯要拎着行李上下樓，但基本上該有的基礎設施都有，洗澡水流充足。但是服務方面稍微有點欠缺，旅遊旺季住宿價格翻番可以理解，但這麼高的住宿價格連常見的礦泉水都沒有提供有點讓人失望（花不了幾個錢，我從千户苗寨來到黔東南州首府凱裏市的旅遊景點的下司古鎮內住宿，條件很簡陋價格便宜一半還不止的民宿客棧都免費提供了兩瓶農夫山泉礦泉水），此外房間大門的內鎖是壞的無法使用有點不應該。

第三次來住了，價格實惠，環境乾淨整潔，離景區近，老闆娘人特別熱情，民宿樓下還有一家飯店，也是老闆娘家的，飯菜蠻好吃的
