Years ago, I spent many nights in this hotel under the Inn of Lancaster name. It used to be a great value in that the rooms were dated but clean and comfortable. Also, the hotel catered to many business travelers like me, so it was usually quiet. In October 2021, I stayed here and the first room I tried was above a group of young people having party in the parking lot. Loud hip hop music and LOTS of pot smoking. My room smelled like a skunk. The front staff moved me to a quieter room, but this one was run down and smelled like stale cigarettes, despite the "strict" no smoking policy. The carpet and couch upholstery was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned recently. Holes in the wall and missing and burned out light bulbs in the bathroom tell a story of long neglect. Due to COVID, they discontinued breakfast, whereas many hotels still provide breakfast boxes to-go. On the bright side, the bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a place to party and get stoned in the parking lot.
