Boutique Hotel Pavillon

I was first surprised by the setting then seduced. Lots of nooks and crannies to discover to spend some quiet time outside of the room. The staff always at your service.

Ideally located (shopping center, restaurants, cafes all around, reachable on foot). Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean room. Points to improve: breakfast: Very simple and not much choice, for the price you could do better. Internet connection: often slow, and the TVs in the rooms directly linked to the Internet spend their time reloading content. A real bar where you can have a drink at the end of the day.

At first glance the Hotel is very pretty. Structure and decoration in wood, greenery and lots of plants outside and in the interior courtyard. A cabin in the jungle atmosphere. Outdoor pool quite good. Friendly and welcoming staff. On this side, no disappointment, rather good points. If you walk there it’s magnificent. It's when you stay there that things get complicated. Everything creaks in the room. At the slightest step, opening a door or moving in the room, the neighbors hear it and complain. I arrived at the room at 2 a.m. and had the unpleasant surprise of seeing my neighbors come knocking on my door to complain about the noise of the doors!. Likewise, I can hear everything on my side, even with the TV on! The bed is quite uncomfortable. The towels, even if expressly placed on the ground to change them, are not. You have to ask every time. It had rained heavily during my stay (normal in Abidjan) the sound of the rain on the jail at my window was strident. Impossible to sleep. If we add to this the impressive croaking of frogs and toads who don't stop, we are far from a night's rest. But hey, poor animals, it's not their fault. Don't expect a filling breakfast. Butter, bread, coffee or tea and a suspicious croissant. That's absolutely everything. You should think about taking it outside instead. Last remark. The air conditioning in the room is too strong and directly overlooks the bed. Impossible to miss it. So it's better to turn it off in the evening. Brief. Full of truncated expectations. To improve in any case. Have a good trip everyone.

While on a business trip to a beautiful luxurious hotel near the airport, a client wanted to introduce me to this hotel and I admit to being pleasantly surprised. Lots of charm in a beautiful wooded area. The staff is pleasant and available. The breakfast is certainly minimalist but up to par (pastries much better than a 5*) I will keep this address for a future family visit, without hesitation.
