I WALKED RIGHT UP TO THE OTHER LADY, SHE HAD HER HEAD DOWN LOOKING AT COMPUTER KEYBOARD, SHE DID NOT LOOK UP OR SAY A WORD UNTIL SHE TOTALLY FINISHED WHAT SHE WAS DOING THEN SAID, "CAN I HELP YOU?" I HAVE WORKED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITIONS ALL MY LIFE AT FRONT DESKS, I MULTI-TASK. IF I AM ANSWERING A BUSY PHONE, I PUT CALLS ON HOLD, BUT WAIVE HAND TO A CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGING THEM TO LET THEM KNOW I SEE THEM AND I AM WAITING TO BE ASSISTED, OR IF FINISHING A TASK, QUICKLY, I SAY, "HELLO, I'LL BE RIGHT WITH YOU." CUSTOMERS PRESENT IN FRONT OF YOU COME FIRST, BEFORE PHONES OR ANYTHING ELSE. OTHER THAN THIS, TRU BY HILTON WAS A FINE EXPERIENCE.
