Hotel Sara de Ur

We spent a day on the way home, letting ourselves be carried away by the photos and because it didn't have a bad rating. We paid almost 100 euros for a tiny room that we didn't even know where to put our things, but the worst thing was that the bed was a "matrimonial" one of 1m35cm, and the mattress was really bad, and on top of that the bed wobbled every time one of us moved. If you add to that the fact that it didn't have air conditioning and that being on the roof, the heat in that room was awful... Well, imagine. The pool is very small and the area in which it is located is also very small (the photos are very deceiving) and there were 3 or 4 families of friends with children who were there screaming and jumping into the water and throwing balls at each other. All this 2 or 3 meters away from you, because as I say, the area is very small; just enough for a few hammocks and hardly any free floor). So we barely fit in and it wasn't comfortable either. Of course there was no lifeguard there or anyone to put some order in the bad behaviour in the mini pool area. (Maybe when it's so small it's not mandatory). Dinner at the beach bar was the best. The beach bar is inside the hotel garden, but it's not run by the hotel, and it works very well. A very nice place to have dinner and a varied menu with delicious dishes. It was the only thing that took the bad taste out of our mouths from our stay there; that and also the hotel breakfast the next morning. The lady who runs it is very nice and helpful, and the breakfast is very tasty and there's quite a variety. It's buffet style but she puts whatever you order for everyone, which is very much appreciated, as this way we avoid having the same mess as at the pool at breakfast, due to the behaviour of the people. For more than 60 euros it wouldn't be worth staying at this place. We won't be going back.

Fuimos pareja y dos niños de 3 y 4 años. Nos alojamos en una habitación súper espaciosa los cuatro: "Habitación doble Quetura 4 Standard". Contaba con dos ventanas, televisión, baño en el interior de la habitación y pequeña nevera. En la puerta, un restaurante muy agradable en el mismo recinto con bombillas que se encienden al atardecer. No es del hotel (lo fue hace años) pero comparte instalaciones y es súper agradable. No le pueden poner más cariño a la gestión de los desayunos. Estuvieron pendientes de los peques con un montón de detalles. El café regular, pero el buffet de desayuno sencillo y rico. El bocadillo caliente hecho en el momento espectacular. El hotel tiene piscina, pero en el mes de marzo estaba cerrada. Parking perteneciente al hotel facilita la descarga de maletas. 🌿 Junto al hotel, una pequeña ruta de naturaleza que, en nuestro caso, terminó en los columpios de un camping cercano con gintonic para acompañar. Y en el entorno, merece la pena visitar Buitrago y Patones de Arriba. Sobre todo este último.

Lugar ideal para los amantes de las emociones fuertes y los safaris. Lo que para nosotros era una escapada romántica de fin de semana se convirtió en toda una pesadilla. Al entregarnos la habitación, al correr las cortinas empezaron a aparecer unos insectos que empezamos a matar hasta un total de unos 40. Desistimos cuando vimos que también había cerca de la cama y mesillas. Al reclamar, nos pasaron a otra habitación dúplex que nada tenía que ver con la contratada. No había calefacción y cuando la dan, un radiador se sale y mancha el piso de agua, el baño huele horroroso y las luces de las mesillas no funcionan. Las atenciones del personal al día siguiente contribuyeron positivamente en el desayuno. Me envían un cuestionario de satisfacción y cuando reclamo todos los inconvenientes dan la callada por respuesta. Todo un ejemplo de empresa de restauración seria y con un buen servicio de mantenimiento.

Ha sido genial nuestra estancia familiar de fin de semana en el hotel Sara de Ur. La habitación muy amplia, limpia, muy acogedora, muy bien la decoración. Hemos estado mi marido y yo con nuestras dos hijas pequeñas y todo fenomenal. El hotel super tranquilo, el desayuno buffet muy variado y todo rico. El personal super amable. Desde luego repetiremos.
