We couldn't have stayed in a more amazing hotel while in Kyoto. From the first moment we stepped in, we were greeted with hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was respectful and extremely helpful.
Our room was well appointed and had more amenities than we could use. Not to mention, the private in room onsen. This was the whole reason we chose this hotel and it did not disappoint. The water was refreshing and you could really feel the healing effects.
As for the meals that the hotel provides... I must say both the Japanese set and Western set breakfasts were delightful and had many options. The fresh ingredients and the diligence of the dining staff were impeccable. We felt truly valued as guests.
It is safe to say that I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in Kyoto. We most certainly will be back!

We reserve the rooms with in-room onsen facility. The room is big and clean. Not only in-room onsen but also other room facilities are wonderful. The platform roof with beverage service is a also good place to enjoy the view of Kyoto.

I stayed in the Kamogawa room for my parents and I stayed in the room on the second floor. I can say that there is no view at all. I feel that the view will be better if I stay on the fourth floor. But it does not affect the stay experience at all, and the privacy of bathing is also enhanced.

The last stop of this trip to Japan, I fell in love with Kyoto because of this hotel. The service, facilities and location of the hotel are great. The biggest surprise is that the drinks in the room are free and there is also a Happy Hour, which I didn't know when I made the reservation.

I was given a room on the fifth floor and it didn't have a very special view. I don’t blame it for the fact that Japanese hotel bathrooms are relatively cramped. Breakfast is a set meal, which is quite satisfactory. The service is relatively good, but many public areas are shared with another lower-end sister hotel, so there will be more people.
