The rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel is located right next to a night market and close to the Kunming South train station. Breakfast has a lot of food options, though I wish they was coffee available.
The "gym" is just a stationary bike and a treadmill. Some weights would be nice, but if you don't mind this (and the coffee), the hotel is perfect for an overnight stay in Kunming.

Great hotel if you are planning to take a train from the Kunming south Station. If you plan to explore the city than i do not recommend the hotel since it is far away from the center.

They provided me with excellent service. The room was spacious and very clean. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of service from the hotel staff, as they were attentive and always accommodating to my needs.

Good location near the night market, near the high speed railway station, hotel facilities are relatively ok, the price is reasonable.

The location is good, just by a night market with lots of food options and maybe some shopping. I think it's in a car free zone and there may have been a different entrance for cars but our cab driver wasn't able to find it. The room was clean and had everything you would need. Good bed and pillows as expected in any Ibis hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful even though they didn't speak English and we didn't speak Mandarin. We communicated mostly via translation apps. They booked us a car to the train station and they were quick to respond when we contacted them about an item we forgot and arranged to get the item shipped to us within the day. It made our stay less stressful. Will definitely stay when we have another chance to visit Kunming.
