Hotels with Breakfast in Kungens Kurva

As a budget hotel in the southern Stockholm suburbs, I wasn't expecting much for my one night on business. It's not glamorous, it's not chic, and it's not convenient for the commuter train or Tunnel-Bahn (Metro system) to central Stockholm (the bus stops close by, or it's a 25 minute walk to the train) But it was clean. It was warm. It had good ventilation. It had a comfortable bed, a TV, a large private bathroom with plenty of hot water, it had a very good inclusive free breakfast, it had convenient free parking outside, and it was walking distance to probably the biggest retail park in Sweden. The reception staff were welcoming. The entire hotel was non-smoking which was perfect for me. The building itself is a little tired looking temporary modular construction, meaning it doesn't look too inviting from the outside, and inside is a very long corridor, again looking a little tired. Being modular also means the acoustic separation between rooms is not perfect, so don't expect solid walls and a solid floor, any maybe expect sounds from neighbouring rooms. But in terms of value for money, if you need somewhere to sleep and eat which is within a budget cost, this place is ideal.

Great accommodation for price, especially in Europe. The staff were amazing and friendly. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and one of the best we have seen in 23 countries and 50 States. Our only small complaint was that there are no mini fridge or microwave in rooms and the location is not close to public transportation but Uber was very convenient.
