We booked the hotel in the short term. Since we arrive late, we get an access code to open the entrance door and the room. It works perfectly. The room is small but practically furnished. From the 2 single beds we make a double bed quickly. Our room goes out to the large parking (free) and is very quiet with it. The TV works. A depletion table and 2 hockers can be used as a very small box area. The bathroom is small, but still equipped with all-round washing gel in the washing basin and shower. One oven is also available. 2 towels per person. There is no breakfast because of corona requirements, but several snack machines if you feel hungry or thirst. A breakfast bag ”to go” can be pre-ordered at the reception at the opening hours. We have not seen any staff in the 2 days, therefore cannot also assess the service. The room was very clean.

One star 🌟 is still too much! We are goldmembers but the unfriendly staff doesn't seem to know what that means. Upgrade: no free breakfast for accompanying person : had to be searched Late check-out: according to the website until 16:00 Reality is here 13:00, although please don't disturb the sign at the door already at 10.40, When you want to go, despite the agreement with the reception. Restaurant and bar were closed on Saturday and Sunday because of wealth 🤪 There you can better sleep in the car and have more service 🤣

There really is nothing physically wrong with this property. A nice looking property that is not really old and with decent facilities. Guest rooms are a bit small but appropriate for the Mercure brand and quit well appointed and A/C that works. No, the issues are all related how this property is run. The rooms, especially the bathrooms are simply not clean, with dirty toilets and mold on the tile. The wall mounted shampoo container was empty upon arrival and never replenished. If one takes a closer look at the overall quality of housekeeping in the rooms, once comes to the conclusion that it really is quite terrible. The carpets in the public areas are dirty and in desperate need of shampooing or replacing. The property has a ” great room” that is used for meetings and get togethers. But it is also used for screaming children early in the morning, although this room is surrounded by an atrium arrangement with many guest rooms. Net, net - this property needs to either step up or find a new management company. The only positive I can come up with is that the front desk staff is friendly and helpful.
