Hotels near Face and Body Institute, Krakow

We stayed at the Hotel Wyspianski in Krakow for 5 nights. Really can't fault this place at all. We had a lovely large room on the 4th floor, the bed was comfortable and they left free bottles of water for us. The hotel is in a great location, close to the Old Town, the main Market Square, a big shopping mall and lots of other attractions. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious with so much choice. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was amazing. The hotel bar was well stocked with Polish vodka and overall we've had a fantastic time and would certainly stay there again!

Excellent hotel, the room was beautiful and very clean, I particularly liked the lighting, not too bright and added something extra to the ‘jazzy’ atmosphere. The spa in the basement is amazing, had the entire spa all for myself for hours. Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel is ideal for discovering the beautiful city of Krakow ! Will be back for sure !

Overall this hotel is excellent! The staff are friendly and very customer focused. The concierge service is equally excellent and I want acknowledge Johnny. He defines what it means to be a concierge. Everything from restaurant suggestions to handling airport transfers was top notch. Over the course of a week, he never gave us a bad recommendation. He also setup tours for us to take as well! The room (privilege with a full bed) was equally as large as rooms in the US, which was unexpected for Europe. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom/shower was equally large and comfortable. A couple of small dings where noticed in the cabinet finishes but that was the only sign of wear and tear in the room. This was our first time in Krakow and the hotel made it a perfect stay! Centrally located in the heart of the city, it is only a 5 minute walk to the Main Square and dining/ attractions. It is also across the street from a mall if you need any last minute purchases. If you are traveling to Poland this hotel is a must!.

Stayed for a four night break second week of November 2024. A Hotel can have the finest facilities in the world, and yes this has some. Nice pool, jacuzzi ,sauna & spa to name a few. However I do believe it is the hardworking, professional snd cheerful Staff that makes a Hotel Grand. Natalia the front office Supervisor and Kamil one of the young men who works on the Reception desk. These two young people are a credit to the Sheraton Grand. Between them they sorted out a situation in a calm and reassuring manner. While all the time reassuring my Husband and I. The situation was escalated to the front office Manager.. Conrad on the same night.. even though he was off duty. Between them they went above and beyond to rectify the problem that wasn’t of their making..or ours! Many Thanks to the 3 of you again. The young lady on the Breakfast Check in also deserves a mention,..Nikola.. Thank you for your Sunny smiles and cheerful manner every morning ..and for the free Polish speaking lessons. Last but not least.. the Lady who made our room up immaculately every day and was always cheerful and friendly Svetlana..Thank you. We ate our evening meal in the hotel on 2 of the 4 nights..very tasty and substantial portions. Breakfast also was very good quality with lots of choices. Overall I give 10 out of 10 with gold stars for the whole experience of staying in the Sheraton Grand. Mr Papatolios, Sir.. Please make sure the staff I have named get the Credit they deserve.. WiFi: Good quality, reliable connection. Cleanliness: Very good throughout the hotel. Comfort: Comfortable beds and pillows; however, the towels could be improved. Staff: Polite and smiley, though could be a bit more engaging. Food: Enjoyed the mocktails, but breakfast could use a wider selection of fruits. Location: Excellent, close to the tram stop Cystersów, just 2 stops from the main railway station and 3 stops to the city center. There is also an underground parking available. Atmosphere: Modern, industrial vibe. Value for Money: Good option for a short stay, offering excellent value near the city center.

Decided to move to a supposedly lovely hotel for 2 nights as thought would be lovely treat for my son as had a big gym and pool, how wrong was I.... we checked in on Saturday night I had called ahead to check availability and price for 2 nights as was leaving on the Monday. The lady on reception told me the price and we went straight over to check in. She took us to the room and we confirmed the price and that it included breakfast, all good. That was until we returned on the Sunday evening after visiting the salt mines that day to not being able to get into our room. We went to reception and they told us we should of checked out that day!!! We were no we booked for 2 nights why would we not when not going home till Monday?? The receptionist said could she ring the lady who we booked with and she told me there was a mistake made and was sorry but we had to PAY another night... Omg was so upset not my fault but still expected to pay, spoke to the general manager and someone higher Joanne I think she was absolutely awful would not listen at all just wanted the money!!!! What kind of customer care NONE i would say. My husband who is disabled and my son 16 were gobsmacked at their total lack of empathy. They had all our belongings locked in the room we were in and we felt we had no choice but to pay as had nowhere to go, cant tell you how upset we were just ruined out trip through absolutely no fault of our own. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL IF U WANT GOOD CUSTOMER CARE. Just because Mecure are a big chain doesn't mean good at all in anyway or form.

We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. Hotel lovely and clean, the rooms are basic but cleaned well every day, coffee and tea and bottled water in your room every day, our children stay in the room next door, i paid for a 3 bedroom but it only had a sofa bed in that was a bit small. Breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from. bar staff friendly and help full reception very helpful the hotel is about 3 miles from the main town and we got a taxi that was about £4.00 each way but more in busier times!
