2 Star Hotels in Krakow

Manager doesn't smile but I know he is very kind person, willing to be ready to give guests help ! Very cozy and comfortable ! Highly recommend to stay !

Very nice very clean very comfy hotel The price was very good, room maintained everyday fresh sheets fresh towels Very big rooms very happy with my stay here Only thing I would suggest is asking for a room which doesn’t face the road side, there’s a crossing with a little ticking noise that you can hear from very early morning

This is a quaint little guest house in the old town , it does not have a lift so no good to people with mobility problems , they supply towels and shower gel and there is tea and coffee in the room , there is a small fridge in the communal area, but nothing to cook on not even a microwave no plates etc, for a room only I did expect more facilities, my room was not in the main building but over looking a bar courtyard , this was very noisy in the evening, also someone started drilling early every morning, ideal as a base, quite dated but clean and reception staff friendly

The hotel is just behind the station, but the windows are soundproof and not noisy. The traffic is extremely convenient, and there is a large supermarket in the station, the shopping mall is convenient, because the city is small, it is only 10 minutes to walk to the old city. Going at the end of July, there is no air conditioning, no air conditioning is needed at night, and there are no mosquitoes in the window. There is an electric kettle, and it would be better if you had a small refrigerator to store food and drink cold drinks.

My husband and I stayed at Dorm 3 of Dizzy Daisy Downtown Hostel Krakow from January 27-29, 2022. Dorm 3 is fully booked on the 29th so we moved to Dorm 1 instead. We are elderlies (and we are Asian) very much prefer lower bunk beds. My husband went to Dorm 1 after 10am to check available lower bunks. One young man staying at Dorm 1 asked my husband ”What do you want”. My husband said we stay at Dorm 1 tonight. The man then told my husband to speak at a lower voice because someone is sleeping but he spoke much louder. I went to Reception to brief the lady receptionist about this unfriendly person in Dorm 1. At around 11.30am, my husband went to Dorm 1 to check available lower bunks again. The man ordered my husband to ”get out or I am going to make a complaint at Reception”. My husband replied ”Let's go together to Reception”. On the way down the stairs, the man swearing at my husband. Just a few steps before reaching the ground, the man, with both hands, pushed my husband from the back. My husband hit on the wall and bounced through the door to the Reception area. My husband fell on his knees and physically hurt. The Receptionist told the man to stop. Three staying guests helped to bring my husband standing up. The incident was witnessed and the hostel said it's recorded by CCTV. The Receptionist told the man to leave but offered to give him a refund. I disagreed to let him go and asked the Receptionist to call the Police - this is an assault which is a criminal offence. The man went back to the Dorm to pack. Receptionist called Security and ”I thought” Security called the ”Police”. In about 10 minutes, the man returned the keys at Reception. Receptionist told him he need to wait for the Police. Without insisting to get a refund, the man said ”good bye” and ran away like a fugitive. Soon after the man stepped out, two Security Guards arrived. I said to the guards they should bring the man back as he had just walked out. That did not happen. I was offered an explanation though. Policemen came. Two of them took my husband going around in a Police car trying to find the man but to no avail. I strongly insisted to file a report at the Police Station to have the man arrested. My husband decided not to proceed as the man had already paid a price to have disgraced his country and his fellow Danish. After Policemen left, I asked the Receptionist our accommodation arrangement for the night. We were offered a free upgrade to a twin-room with shared bathroom but after a quick discussion with husband we thought we should be compensated for a free room for the night. The Receptionist told me to come back after 2pm and get a reply from the Reception Manager. I spoke to Reception Manager at 4pm, she was calm and not quite empathetic as if assault is no big deal in

The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the old town and in front of a bus stop, and it is a convenient location. The reception is open 24/24 and it is possible to have swabs against a caution. Furthermore, the rooms are clean and spacious. The communs are also of an impeccable cleanness, they are washed every day! The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable.

It was our first time in Krakow and we stayed here for 3 nights. The hostel was clean and located in a very good location. It is very near to all the historic places of the city. The staff were very friendly. The only thing I don't like about this hostel was the breakfast, too expensive for low-quality ham, (boiled) eggs, toasted bread. I would advise ppl to just find and eat at some breakfast place (there is a lot!) nearby where you would pay the same amount but get a way better food. Oh and I hope too that the hostel organize activities for solo travelers, that would be awesome if guests has a chance to socialize to each other.

well i arrived at Das Hostel, and to be honest i was a little shocked at the entrance.It looked quite rundown. But it's an old building in an area that is not pedestrianised, but as of september they are putting in tram lines and resurfacing so if you go next year i'm sure it will be up and running. Das hostel is very close to the center and lots of shops and coffee shops around to get coffee and food! and not far to wander home after a few vodkas and good food, ( although Das hostel has a clean and well equipped kitchen) They are obviously trying rebuild/ tart up the area due to the new money of tourism. but saying that, it is in no way a bad area at all!!!! and i felt totally safe at all times. not even a flicker of worry. I think that is all of krakow. Feels safer than london. Its a very pretty city and in good very good order. I really honestly can not complain one bit. Once you are in the hostel it is lovely. its clean and friendly. I stayed in a four bedroom room, and had a mix over 5 days of uk, australian, finish, and polish people. There were people of every nationality and all were respectful of each other and friendly. I didn't feel awkward and felt quite at home and free to move around. There isnt a lot of shower rooms but plenty for everyone and all are clean, with no need to worry. AS FOR THE STAFF!!!!! THEY WERE JUST FABULOUS!!!! so helpful, polight and could not fault them at all. They will book your tours and transfer to the airport and help you anytime, if you need and chat. I think how helpful the staff were made the experience as it can be daunting in a different country when not staying in a hotel. Das hostel is clean and tidy and friendly. I have honestly stayed in worse hotels in london for 120 pounds a night. If you want a cheap place to stay for a long weekend or week in poland then i can't recommend this place enough. For £10 a night you really can not go wrong. !!! All i suggest that if you have the money when you leave, is to leave a small tip as a thank you xx i loved it and i am sending my daughter there next year with her boyfriend. thank you to the staff at Das hostel you were great xx
