Sunrise Koh Tao is just a stone’s throw away from the pier, so after a long journey to reach the island, this hotel is literally a 2 minute walk away. This saved us a lot of money as everything is so close to this place! Not only that, but the rooms are impeccably clean! The beds are comfortable and PLEASE get yourself a seaview room when booking this place! Sleeping and waking up to the sound of the waves is unbeatable! Our stay at this place was so good we initially booked 3 nights and ended up extending to a whole week! Besides Christl who runs the place gave us all the tips we needed and she was always there to help with a smile! All this within an incredibly reasonable price!

What a great hotel this is, with a warm and welcoming manager called Christine. It was my birthday and she woke me up with a beautiful cake and card. Hospitality to no end. The rooms are good value for money, some with sea views, the hotel balcony has views to die for especially during sunset and the local is right next to the pier so you can simply walk off the boat straight to the hotel hassle free. The beach is Mae Haad Beach and is lush! The hotel is excellent in terms of value for money, location and has a good relaxing vibe. Highly recommend!

An amazing place with beautiful sunset, staff is kind and thoughtful, especially the manager who would help you with anything u need! If you’re a dog lover or have a dog this is the place for you! Many dogs come there often and play together on the beach, my dog (and I) enjoyed every minute of staying. Thank you for a lovely stay! 🙏🏽

We stayed here as part of our travels around the islands and wanted to do our Padi license also. It is Extremely good value for money, location is great literally a two minute walk off the ferry when you arrive. The room is comfortable we had one room with aircon and another with a fan both were perfect! the bathroom is small but it’s all you need really! Christiane was sooo helpful she could not do enough for us helped us with where to get a bike, where to get tickets for our next ferry and also where to do our scuba diving too! Also a dog paradise which we loved !! Overall and excellent stay for what we paid for!

This place is very well located, right on the beach and only 3 minutes walk from the pier. The ideal place to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the sea. Not forgetting the warm welcome by Christiane, the manager, who always gave excellent advice.

I was 1 day without money and passport, and the manager helped me out big time, by letting me pay and show my passport the next day, when I was reunited with my belongings. She really helped me out! She also has a heart of gold helping dogs on this island! Truly an amazing human being!

We had the opportunity to spend a few days in this hotel located near the port. It overlooks the beach and the staff is really very kind and attentive to your wishes. Thanks to Mémé for the welcome and for the advice.

In eerste instantie zocht ik een redelijk goedkope kamer in de buurt van de pier en kwam ik hier uit. Na een paar dagen heb ik meteen extra dagen bijgeboekt omdat de kamers enorm comfortabel en heel schoon waren. Daar bovenop was de gastvrouw altijd erg vriendelijk en ze geeft enorm goed advies over activiteiten. Je hebt uiteraard privacy in je kamer maar als je wat socialer wilt doen kan je bij de bar mensen opzoeken om gezellig te praten. Verder is de zee heel dichtbij en kan je ook heel prettige plekken voor avondeten en zeker voor ontbijt in de buurt vinden. Ik heb enorm genoten van mijn verblijf hier en ga hier zeker terugkomen!
