A really great place for families. The kids play area is staffed and was a necessity on a few rainy days. It's a bit strange though that the restaurant and pool area closes so early (around 7:00PM) and all the lights are turned off.
Super close walk (3 minutes) to Fishermans' village street where there is lots to do, and also close to the night market (maybe 10 minutes walk).

We had 6 nights stay with 2 small kids. The stay was defined by a lot of misunderstanding by managers. Unfortunately the staff moved us to another villa without informing us. The new room couldnt accomodate our sleeping demands that we explicitely afsked for. The room was brand new and smelled of painting.it had no charme. The manager seemed annoyed on us after. After one night we Got moved to the room we ordered - it was okay - however it is only cleaned every 3 days and we had a lot of small flies and lacked toilet paper… Also we had an error with the booking only having booked 1 breakfast- and instead of solving this the manager kept on pointing out our mistake. Also the manager told us several days that cleaning would come but when we came Home in Evening we arrived to dirty room. The facilities are good for kids with PLAY land and Christmas event. However the place has not the feeling of being in Thailand - Also it is located next to a noisy Road.

Really lovely place set up especially for children. Across the road is the amazing fisherman’s village and a 7/11. The staff are all really friendly, the kids club is fab and they have an onsite nanny completely free! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the little kitchen is so handy with children. The lady who showed us around was really lovely as was her daughter. The grounds and pool were immaculate. The only slight downside was that the weekend we stayed the resort hosted two, possibly three birthday parties for no guests and this kind of took over the resort. Our younger daughter kept trying to get into the party for the doughnuts 😂 As we were leaving, the guy who also runs the place totally blanked us. Bit weird - but neither of these things would stop us returning!

Very unfriendly and agressive staff, particularly at the entrance. Would not recommend to go with children given the atmosphere, kids got scared by the porter. You can find more children friendly places in the area around. No need to stop there.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Maya Resort for six weeks and it was a lovely experience. They make it so easy for traveling families. They provided us with a stroller, high chair, baby monitors, etc. everything you would need to make your stay more enjoyable, they had! The pool, kids club, trampoline, scooters, kid cars, countless toys were a big hit for our 4 year old. It has a great location - close to a new 7/11, delicious local restaurants, fisherman’s village, and the beach. The owner has so much care and passion to make each stay special and is constantly looking at ways to enhance people’s stay. Nice to see! If you’re looking for a quaint boutique resort that’s tailored to families this is a place for you :)

Because I arrived late 22:00, the staff has left me the key and I checked in myself. The only thing I don't like is there is no instruction on how to setup the safe and the drawer locker key also not work in my room.

To be found within minutes of walking into Fishermans Village. The rooms are bright, airy and very clean. The staff are super helpful and go out of their way to assist in any way they can. I am alone but all the other guests seem to be families with young children. They are well catered for and all seem to be having a great time playing in the garden and swimming in the pool. Very quiet and great WIFI. No stairs to navigate.

We stayed here for 3 weeks with 3 children under 3. We couldn’t have found a more perfect hotel for us. Price is extremely reasonable. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The toys and play room for kids is brilliant. They have everything you need for babies and children. Location is also perfect for fisherman’s village 2 minute walk and the beach is very close by too. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly.
