The Hosteller Fort Kochi

We didn't really like the reception very much. Fair amount of administration and after travelling all day and arriving in the evening, you just don't feel like doing that. Payment was also difficult. The link didn't work. Tried with 3 cards. 15 emails in our inbox etc. I still get 2 mails daily from the hostel. To book an extra day, we had to book everything through a payment link again. We refused this and ended up paying it so cash. The location is definitely okay. Rooms were clean and fresh bedding. My plug did not work but for 1 night this was not the biggest problem. The room for 4 people is really quite small.

I had a private room and it was great value for money. Very needed air conditioning, comfy bed... I also loved the rooftop! The only thing that I would improve is that there could be more information regarding transport and things to do around (i.e. How to get there from the airport) before I went

It was amazing stay at fort cochin hostller. Staff was vey helpful especially pheo. All amenities is excellent. Location also is good all monuments are walkable distance from the location. Highly recommended.

Cleanest accomodation so far in India! Good shower pressure, good bed, did I mention clean? Water available to fill your water bottle… Was lucky to have the room entirely for myself for one night as no other guest showed, and when someone did it was still comfortable even if he was on the top bed as mine. Perhaps a bit excesively cold when AC and fan are running, but hey that’s Asia’s usual when staying at a hostel. You come to Asia to escape the cold and end up sleeping with a blanket. And getting horrible sore throats, and dryness from excesive AC. Staff was correct and helpful. Location was unbeatable! Will stay again in December.

Staff are so nice, very welcoming and they have lots of recommendations if you don’t know what to do. One of the staff was going to the airport at the same time as me and offered a free lift which was very kind! Beds are so comfy and the curtain covers the whole bed so you have a lot of privacy, shower had hot water and bathroom was very clean! Lockers underneath bed had so much space too. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the Chinese fishing nets so is in a very convenient place. Best hostel I’ve been to!

Very well maintained, super clean, helpful staff and homely atmosphere, Liked it a lot. I stayed 3 days at the property and everything was superbly comfortable. Toilets were very clean. The pillows, bed and room was so cosy.

Best place to spend your holidays. Feels like home away from home. Shoutout to the entire team, they are really humble and polite. People are the key factor of hospitality and that definitely makes it different from others
