This is a very convenient modern hotel if visiting the science park on business. 10 minutes walk away. The Kansai airport bus literally stops at the main entrance. The hotel is large but at the time of visiting pretty quiet. There didn't appear to be an any additional restaurant or bar that was open other than for breakfast. However there is a large out of town shopping area with a number of ok restaurants about 7 or 8 in a row that open late that is literally 10 minutes walk away. We tried 5 of these in our week long stay but honestly nothing stood out. The nearest train station is a good 45 minute walk away so getting a taxi is essential really. However, Nara is only 20 minutes away from Shin Hososo station when you eventually get there. Worth the effort for a bit of life. The hotel breakfast was mixed Japanese and Western which was actually pretty good and probably the highlight of the stay. Rooms were basic, large and quite cool which was actually quite welcome compared to some of the overly stuffy rooms that modern hotels tend to have. Overall functional. But the surrounding area is pretty bleak and very quiet walking around after hours. This may have been the time of year but somehow I doubt it.

It has a good location, a long history, and retro architecture. Many celebrities once lived there. The restaurant inside is also a famous restaurant, and you need to book in advance to enjoy it. Excellent service from the service staff. A female lobby staff member named ”Li” in Japanese provided very good service. Even though we didn't understand the language, she took the trouble to communicate with me. She also helped us call a car and sent us to the car. The Japanese service is absolutely top notch. A hotel that feels like a business ＋ hot spring hotel, just next to JR Nara Station. The room is clean and quite large, ３ F, but the view from the window was completely elevated by the railway, and I was worried about the sound of the train. The bathroom in the room has only a shower, but there is a large communal bath in a natural hot spring, so I was able to relax. There was no problem with the hot springs and breakfast, and it was as expected. Free bottled water 1 book in the refrigerator, WiFi is also free to connect.

Very satisfactory! Location is ok ! Very close to local train and bus station but for JR is 15 minutes walk, though the JR has a bus line for it but you still need to pay $220.and have to wait every 20 minutes! the local bus is more convenient! Room is big and comfortable! Would recommend and come back again!

The outdoor hot spring pool experience is also very good, with beautiful scenery. It would be better if the tank could be larger. Otherwise, 2-3 people living in a room would not be able to experience it in 50 minutes. This is not very user-friendly. You are only given 50 minutes depending on the number of people, and the tank is too small so only one person can go in and soak in. Others have to wait outside, and couples cannot enjoy it at the same time. 🥺🥺🥺 3. In addition, the food is pretty good. Drinks are not included. There are not many amazing flavors. The first cold dish is the best. 4. The night view of Mt. Wakakusa is great, I must like this! The hotel will drive you up the mountain to see it👍 Let’s talk about the points that need to be improved: 1. The hotel service is a bit embarrassing, and the attitude is excellent, but there are always some indescribable feelings of inconsistency, such as kneeling service during check-in, and dining activities in the back. The waiter who checks you in does not even remember your last name and where you are. There are only a few rooms in the hotel (not for such a small-scale boutique B&B with few rooms), and there are obvious traces of the process. He also said that he would help to ask if there is any space in the private hot spring the next morning, but nothing was said. 🐶 2. The pillows on the bed in the room are very uncomfortable and too high. There is no difference between the two pillows as they are high. There is no choice. Be careful of stiff neck. 👴 3. The included dinner does not include drinks and menu upgrades, which need to be ordered separately, but we did not order them. When we checked out, the waitress came to ask us for payment. When we expressed confusion, she asked us if we had ordered dinner. Extra drinks. Please, don’t you keep track of whether guests order or not? Wouldn't it be rude to ask guests to confirm the check-out time themselves? 🙁 4. After observing the guests who stayed that day, basically the majority were Chinese (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), followed by a few European, American and Japanese guests. However, the hotel did not have a Chinese-speaking waiter. In addition to Japanese, it was Japanese-style English that was forced to recite words. I want to say that although you can communicate in English, but if you can't speak it, are you really respecting the Chinese guests by talking like a duck throughout the process? After all, it is extremely difficult to communicate like this. Some Japanese people cannot understand the English they speak. I wonder how the hotel has no Chinese-speaking waiters when there are so many Chinese guests and they even open Weibo for promotion? 🙁

I was looking for a spacious place to relax in my room during my stay, so I decided to stay here. There is a hot spring, but I made a reservation without knowing that I would be able to use it until 10 p.m., and the nearby restaurants close early at night, so I prioritized dinner and checked in, so I couldn't get up early in the morning. In the end, it was not possible to use it. The room I stayed in was really spacious and had several large sofas so I was able to spend a relaxing time. There was no problem with the room itself, but there was an inexplicable smell in the hallway on the accommodation floor, probably due to disinfection. I think the building is valuable because it feels like a good old big hotel from the Showa era. I thought it was a good time as the shop in front of the front desk was stocked with a variety of items. There was a convenience store within walking distance, so I didn't feel inconvenienced.

The location of the hotel is located in the opposite side of the downtown in the direction. You can leave the station to the hotel and go along the track to shortcut. The lobby was wide 々. The elevator is a style of pressing the destination floor with a card key. Some elevators also hold the key when going down . The room also has an air purifier, baggage rack, and alarm clock. Glass in a coffee cup and ice in it. The bath is card key, and there are other dedicated keys for women. The exclusive key is 々 exchange day. Hand towels bath towels are provided in the bath, so you don't need to take them from the room. Towel place, I think this is bad for guests, but it is quite messy, so I thought I needed a regular check. The washroom is ８, and ２ of them can be set up with parents and children. No sauna.

This price is really worth it: the room is big, the facilities are excellent, the hygiene is good, and the service is good. The transportation is really inconvenient. There is basically no bus after 18:00, and the nearest subway is more than 2 kilometers away. Calling a taxi? Forget it! First, there are few, and second, you can't install Japanese taxi apps without a Japanese mobile phone number. I found the nearest station of the Cong Railway on my first night after 30 minutes of walking through the countryside, vegetable fields, and cemeteries with my luggage. The second night was better, and I walked through a 15-minute uninhabited area. Having said so much, it doesn't mean that I will never choose it, but if you don't care about transportation issues, it is highly recommended.

Right next to Nara Jr Station. You can overlook Nara Castle. The route to the hotel is based on the reviews of previous customers, which is very accurate. There is a convenience store downstairs, and a large supermarket further ahead that is open until 24 o'clock. The surrounding facilities and transportation are convenient. The hotel is quite new. I have stayed in Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto many times. If you are sightseeing, staying in Nara is really comfortable. We spent the last two days shopping before returning to Osaka to stay. There really isn't much to buy here. The main thing is to take a leisurely walk, visit small shops and eat, and there are many temples and attractions. The details of the hotel are very good. All the small things you need are placed in the drawers and they are kept clean. I didn't hear any noise either.
