Had a great time staying at the Heaven Hotel! Everyone I met who worked there was super nice and helpful, especially Laurence at the front desk. I went to the restaurant multiple times, and enjoyed the amazing food and wonderful staff. I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic staff and service. We were lucky to be upgrade to a much bigger room Anything we asked about was immediately resloved. The complimentary massage was great and breakfast offered much variety and selection. Would happily return to Heaven when in Kigali.

As the name suggests it was just heaven. The breakfast was incredible, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the room was really cosy and comfortable. The pool area was also wonderful. Many thanks

It was a fantastic surprise to be in this hotel. I cannot say enough of everyone that works here. Everyone is very kind and that made us feel very welcomed and special. The food is delicious as well and the breakfast has many options. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I wish to come back.

Lovely well equipped rooms. Staff always ready to help. Good pool. Excellent breakfast and and two excellent restaurants. Reception always ready to help and arrange things. Great concept of facilitating the training of local Rwandans.

We had a wonderfull 2 nights stay. We had exelent food at restaurant fusion. Nice halfday drive in Kigali with a very helpful driver, guide Oscar! Can be highly recommended

The room we had was too light at night because of a few outside wallights that stayed on .

This is a lovely boutique hotel. We stayed in a budget king room which was just lovely. We loved coming home at the end of the day to a sparkling clean room with the bed crisply made and the mosquito netting tied up and draped like a queens bed in a fairytale. There are modern amenities that Americans often expect like a hairdryer, a nice TV that we never used, a fridge, a coffee and tea station and filtered water. The pool is solar heated and not too cold even in winter (December). The landscaping around the pool is gorgeous and well maintained. The rooms come with a copy of the owner's book telling the story of how they arrived in Rwanda 15 years ago. I have not finished it yet, but you will also get a history lesson when reading. As noted on the website it is a hospitality training center and the staff is so attentive! Two highly rated restaurants adjoin the hotel (actually on two properties up the road), one serving more traditional fare and one more high end international fare. I love how entrepreneurial the owners Josh and Alissa are and how they are helping to build Rwanda. They are part of the story of justice, forgiveness, and hope that is modern Rwanda. I hope more folks travel to this beautiful, safe, and welcoming country

The staff is excellent. The room was very tiny and the bright light outside made it difficult to sleep at night.

This is a very lovely hotel. I stayed there a couple of days, left for a couple of days and came back again. The room I had in the newer part of the hotel. The first time was absolutely lovely. The service is great and they have a nice pool and it’s a good location. It’s also a few steps away from a very very nice restaurant so that’s very convenient. But the room I had when I came back was an older part of the hotel, and it just wasn’t as nice. It wasn’t terrible, but it was much older and smaller and less light and airy.

The Heaven Hotel is an oasis of calm in Kigali. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our room was nicely appointed and quiet which was great after flying for ＞ 24 hours. Dinner at Fusion was outstanding and the included breakfast was great including an omelet bar. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here our next time in Kigali. I also recommend reading Josh Ruxin's book A Thousand Hills to Heaven - a memoir about how the restaurant and hotel started.

Appreciate the breakfast and the pool. The room was tiny without chair neither table , and the view out the window was a wall with heating systems beside.

Nice hotel in a nice area near downtown. Very nice restaurant and pleasant staff.
