Stayed here for 9 nights, loved the service and sound proof rooms. The dinner and breakfast chefs were amazing and the location of hotel is part of Chaya centre which has a amazing coffee spot called Arabica coffee!! Once we gathered our bearings around Thamel, shopping and external restaurants are very easy to walk to and enjoy. When using taxis we saved so much downloading Pathao so we did not have to negotiate on price and get overcharged. Highly recommend Aloft in Kathmandu and they are great ambassadors of the Marriott name and brand!

The hotel is newly renovated and the bedding is new and clean. The front desk staff are very good, enthusiastic and thoughtful. Many of them have been trained in Sanya resort hotels and can speak some Mandarin. The restaurant on the first floor even helped us make instant noodles for free🍜 Recommended, will stay here again next time There is a SPA in the hotel, and guests can get 15% off. The technique is very good, but there are only three essential oils to choose from: lavender, ylang ylang and eucalyptus.

Must be praised, the staff is very friendly. Breakfast-included, breakfast is very simple, there are eggs and milk tea, it feels good. It’s really comfortable to talk about the hotel’s air conditioning again. Very cool. It’s great to sleep. The price is also relatively high, so I recommend everyone to live. It was a great location and the staff at the front were very friendly. I was very grateful that when I had a problem, they immediately resolved it when I contacted them. And the restaurant on the 7th floor was also delicious. It was a room with a city view, and the large window let in plenty of sunlight, and the heater and hot water worked well. It was so warm and comfortable, and convenient facilities, shops, pharmacies, coffee shops, laundry, etc. are right nearby, so I recommend it👍 If I go to Thamel next time, I want to make a reservation again. thank you

We have had an incredible stay at Holiday Hostel from start to finish, staff are great in many ways from welcoming us into the hostel to spending a lot of time with helping us to plan our months stay in Nepal. We have arranged and booked the ABC treck, Chitwan safari (prices were good compared to other companies we found) and volunteering at Maya Unviverse, a place we hadn’t heard of before coming to Nepal and thanks to Madam we had a fantastic time living and helping out with the kids and the school. Location is great, there is a really nice rooftop bar that serves great food and drinks, make sure to try the most delicious milk tea! Rooms are great, comfy and quite considering how busy Thamal road can get. We stayed here twice, both at the beginning and at the end of our trip in both the dorms and private room and both options are clean and comfy. We even kept some of our luggage at the hostel for around 3 weeks while we went and explored Nepal and collected it at the end with no issues at all. We also received a very thoughtful gift from Holiday hostel for completing the ABC treck, such a nice gesture. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if ever back in Katmandu.

This hotel is iright in the middle of the heart of Thamel. The best is not only the outlook of it, the hospitality is something that counts, the doorbell would run to help us when we had luggages to carry, with warm smiling face, those staff that serve us breakfast was very helpful, they made us like we were at home. The front desk was good too, and the manager was great, he was helpful to all our needs, and more important, not practical at all! We were there for 3 visits, so we had tried 6 different rooms in this trip, all of them were good without complaint. We highly recomend this new hotel.
