Older facilities but good food and service!

I looked for various accommodations in Yobuko to eat live squid and decided to come here, and it was a great decision. The 14 tatami room on the second floor of the new building is spacious and has a window on the veranda with a great view. We had our meals in our room. I was waiting for live squid, but the sashimi and boiled squid were also very delicious. The live squid that was brought to me was large, chewy and sweet, just as I expected. You can also cut the geso into small pieces with scissors, but the texture is different from the meat and you can enjoy it. We had breakfast in the dining room, and in addition to the squid dumplings and zaru tofu, we also enjoyed the sea bream tea topped with fresh sea bream sashimi. Both the wife and the waitress were friendly and helped me in many ways.

The exterior is old, but the rooms are neat and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. However, the blinds were thin, so we woke up quite early in the morning sun lol. There was coffee service and picture books in the lobby on the first floor, so we relaxed while watching the ocean with our children. When you go out from the lobby to the ocean side, there is a promenade where you can take a walk while watching the ocean. It seems that the morning market is also within walking distance. The meals were plentiful and delicious, both in the morning and evening. I especially recommend the spiny lobster and abalone. I also liked that the rice was octopus rice! We used the family bath. The water was quite hot, so it took a while to cool it down so that the children could get in.
