Berjaya Waterfront Hotel Reviews

Our experience at Hotel Berjaya was wonderful. My friend and I were on a business trip, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. When we lost our wallet in a taxi, one staff member went above and beyond to contact Grab and help us retrieve it. I regret not getting her name, but I hope she sees this and knows how grateful we are. Additionally, Mr. Mazaharul Alam and Ataur impressed us with their exceptional service. We didn't realize they were Bangladeshi due to their outstanding professionalism. Overall, we were deeply impressed by the staff's behaviour and hospitality.

Hotel is ok but quiet old, TV, design, bathtub etc.. Hotel staff are very friendly but housekeeping would need to take more effort. Didn’t get a new towel after housekeeping 🥹. Tried order lamb chop it was super🤩. 24 hr room service, nice breakfast and relaxing view.

Hotel is near to ferry terminal, but is a little bit old, otherwise it was a pleasant stay, not for fussy people.

Aircon is not cold enough and its remote control was spoilt. In addition, TV unable to view clearly and without sound due to poor signal inside room no. 1254.

The area was near the waterfront (obviously) so the view is pretty nice but not those super scenic beaches of course. Inside it’s a little rundown but it’s functional and clean. Nice big open areas and convenient to the checkpoint

It was a good experience staying in Berjaya Water front hotel. The staff is so nice and friendly.

Bad experience for 1st time user like me to book hotel using trip.com app I made my booking on 5 April but there is no booking record from hotel side and both claim not their fault. For staying experience beside everything look quite old and the carpet smell... The night club noise at during midnight affect our sleeping Overall experience so so only

Not recommend , The towel is lack of cleanliness, the room appears outdated, check-in process is slow taking around 10 minutes, service is sluggish, breakfast is unsatisfactory, and there's an unidentified object in the orange juice along with hair found in the food.

Hotel is super super super super old, but inside is ok, near cruise custom and need to check our bag be4 our grab car can drive off, room is ok, repainted. Called counter but no one pick up, toilet floor is dirty with stain... 1 time stay is enough. Breakfast is decent....

It is a nice & comfortable hotel to stay in..The breakfast food is very delicious too..It is a very big hotel to stay..It is affordable..It is near to causeway..

The Staff were so accommodating about our concern and noticed they're respectful. We asked for room maintenance and was surprised to see the staff removed their shoes before going in. The staff greet us politely upon entering and even on the Breakfast area. The place is great for those planning to have a trip to Batam cos it's just a walk away from the Ferry. So can have a tour around JB first then go to Batam. Got a mall also inside which helps if you lack something when you pack your things. The place is a bit old compared to other hotels but it was very well maintained. I love the morning view cos we got the Sea View, it was very relaxing. The breakfast is just enough to fill the stomach. It exceeded my expectations for the price paid.
