Ramada Hotels in Jinghong

An exotic feeling hotel, with some beautiful spaces to take pictures (which seems to be the main activity - sadly - for travellers in Xishuangbanna). I stayed here for 4 nights, check-in was fairly smooth, although a cheeky comment about whether the gym was part of my normal routine or not, was not hugely appreciated. A very large hotel, quite dated, but with spacious rooms. My room had a comfortable large bed, a huge bath (the plug didn't work - but they did fix this promptly) and a lovely balcony area. Unfortunately, there were so many palm trees outside of my room it blocked a lot of the natural light, so the room was always quite dark - 21st century problems 🤣 I loved how the aircon automatically turned off when the doors opened - helping the environment 😊 I did not have breakfast any day as I was up and out early, and with limited vegetarian options I ate only once in their Chinese restaurant - where the chef prepared a special meal for my dietary requirements. The bar area, well, wasn't a bar, but the lobby lounge was a wonderful space and their iced coffee was a real treat each day! The children's pool was closed for maintenance but the indoor pool was available. Location was good, I was able to travel to everywhere quite simply using DiDi (although they will not take people to the Botanical Gardens). A particular thank you to Lee, who offered excellent help in English when I was unable to get any transport. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring Xishuangbanna 🌴 ☀️

The hotel facilities are small, exquisite, humanized and reasonable. The curtains are automatic, and the faucet for bathing is very large. It is very comfortable to take a bath, especially the garden-shaped balcony has a very large space and is comfortable for viewing. The balcony also designed a shelf for drying clothes and water for passengers. Doo, I think it's great. The sanitation is also very clean, the service attitude is also very good, and free drop-off service is provided. In short, the two elderly people stayed in the hotel for two nights during their vacation. It is not far from the Xingguang Night Market, and it is very convenient for shopping and eating nearby.

The hotel's hardware originally received negative reviews, so five stars were given to the hotel's waiter. There was a young lady at the front desk who had a bad attitude. The shower room was full of water and there was a problem with the floor drain. There was a male waiter who was very proactive in cleaning, changed the room, and even gave me fruit to apologize. She had a very good attitude. I was also responsible for picking up and dropping off the night market. The service was excellent. But the hotel was too small, so I changed hotels after staying for one day.

This hotel was about 10 minutes from the night market which was awesome. Check in was very easy and straightforward. The receptionist was kind and even offered to show us our room. The hotel is a little bit older but in some ways that adds to its charm. The rooms are large and it has a refrigerator. The only problem I really had with this hotel is the air conditioner didn't really blow cold air and the breakfast options were very little. Other than that it's priced very reasonably and I' d recommend it to anyone in the area. This hotel is about 10 minutes away from the night market, which is awesome. We could not say enough nice things about this hotel. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing 10 days which was just what was required after a busy semester at work. The two young ladies and one young man at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind (I only know two of their names, Xiao Luo and Xiao Xiang). They were not over bearing and in our faces ever. They were able to help us with every request we asked for when we wanted or needed something. Having a language barrier was never a problem and they were so attentive to our needs via wechat. They were prepared to help with a driver to any sightseeing you wanted to do. There’s great restaurants and things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel too. The cleaning staff were very pleasant from the lady around the pool to the lady cleaning our room. Breakfast had two options, noodles or rice congee, it was always served with a great number of side dishes, more than enough choice from cereal, eggs, bread, as well as milk, a number of freshly prepared vegetables. Due to the great breakfast we rarely ate lunch. You just didn’t need to. We rescued a dog while in Xishuangbanna which the reception staff were really helpful with some of the things we needed to do with the dog! We have stayed in many hotels around the world and Lying Cloud was definitely a highlight. Great location, clean and modern room with good amenities, wonderful front desk staff, clean and well maintained pool and outdoor area at a very, very reasonable price. This hotel came recommended to us via a colleague and we would highly recommend it to other foreigners and Chinese friends too!

This is the happiest hotel I have stayed in in Banna. The environment is very good. There is a master pick-up and drop-off when I go to the Shwedagon Pagoda. There is also a Thai restaurant downstairs. The hotel also gave us a dish. The environment is beautiful. There is also a swimming pool inside, and guests can swim for free. It is very convenient for us to go around. Quiet sleep at night. The lady at the front desk is also very gentle and patiently explained the surrounding tourism to us. Must have a five star rating.

Very huge hotel, well located on the left bank of the Mekong, therefore away from the city center and its infernal traffic. The place is calm especially in the evening and in the morning, which is essential for a good night's rest. The rooms are large, clean and offer all the amenities and services one would expect in a hotel like this. Small regret: no USB socket in the rooms ...... The service at the reception is impeccable, some staff speak a little English. The breakfast is huge, chinese and international, you will find there all what you like. Ample parking in the basement, free for hotel guests. The hotel is located at only 300 meters from great golden pagoda and most interesting at the same distance from Gaozhuang night market, which is a must see in Jinghong, dont miss it. The hotel also offers an exhibition of ancient local crafts, well documented and really interesting ( from Yunnan museum)

This inn is very close to Xingguang Night Market, and there are many restaurants around. The reservation is from the 20th to the 23rd, because the itinerary changed a little and continued to stay for 3 nights. The boss is very kind and enthusiastic... By the way, there is also a pick-up service.
