The whole Jinan West area is a bit of a ghost town in the current economic situation, not many people and no soul, empty buildings, it's just a transport hub. Great hotel if you need to stay a few minutes walk from the train station. It's 16km.to downtown if you might actually want to see the city.

Excellent customer service namely, Xiao Shang who assisted us with check in and handling the hiccups with our local tour agent. Central air conditioning was shut down (probably energy savings measure) at night but we were given stand fan instead. Delicious breakfast with many varieties of local dishes. A good hotel to stay in Jinan.
