N3 Zainul Arifin Hotel

Gajah Mada Central Jakarta|1.25km from Al Ala Mosque
As a seasoned traveller, this was one of my worst stays in Reddoorzs (Ustay) Jakarta; mainly due to the intransigence of Agoda, lack of communication, fobbing off and apparent lying. All these allegations are similar to Trip Advisor reviews. With this evidence, who would want to use Agoda? A big risk. Watch out for its cancellation policy i.e. no cancellations without losing your money!!! The room was nothing like the photo on Agoda’s web site – spacious with good, soft furnishings. It was, cramped, very poor, being basic and “Spartan” (low “Budget backpacker” standard) and highly misleading, an illegal misrepresentation and very poor value for money. The shower room was old and in need of renovation, with a stained toilet, a half roll of toilet paper and no boxes of tissues. The Wi-Fi was very slow and down (inoperative) for three of my six days. No safe, fridge, rubbish bin, quilt cover or tea making facilities (basic in better hotels) The only positives were instant hot water and receptionist: Vrilla who was patient, helpful, pleasant and spoke reasonable English Extremely disappointed, I wanted to cancel so I spoke to the Regional Manager of the Reddoorz Ustay chain. She said that they would give me a full refund. To be assured I spoke to Agoda as they were holding the payment off my credit card. The Agoda staff “support” member was “soft” and reassuring but said that she would contact the hotel and ring me back. They did not, so I rang again – I wanted a clear decision. Yet more delay. Eventually, I got an email saying that they would look into it. The days were ticking by and I felt that I was living in limbo and the saga was making me Depressed. It was like living in a prison. With no response, I spoke to them again. Predictably, yet more delay. After several more emails, Agoda said that Reddoorz was refusing to do a refund, contradicting the Regional Manager who WAS going to refund me. So, who was telling the truth? Thus, I felt Agoda was extremely unhelpful with extreme delays, very poor communication and customer care. I felt fobbed off and told lies!!! Agoda appears to be only interested in ”The Money” and not the care and interests of the travellers!!! Were all the delays a strategy to avoid refunding me? Is there any legal redress? I complained to Rita (Regional Manager) but received no reply. A usual corporate strategy for complainants, these days,

Honestly I booked this hotel when blackout at midnight & felt unbearable due to the heat so thought to book a hotel as a reserve next night. Given that the phone battery was dying with bad signals, I didn't even check the review so I decided to book and pay directly through internet banking. The hotel itself turned out to be an original apartment and its location was quite strategic. When I checked in yesterday, the reception was quite friendly, but because of the crowd there were some customers who were angry about waiting for a long time and came first but the people who came later were called first. I booked a business room myself and got upgraded to a family room with 3 different without any cost. Family room consists of 2 bedrooms where 1 bed has 1 bed and 1 single bed with sofa, tv, refrigerator and wardrobe. Her own bed is quite soft in my opinion and both the towel and the bedcover and the sheets are clean and fragrant. Unfortunately there is a dirty wall because the shoes seem to be (I was in room 1609 at that time). But it's still acceptable that given that this hotel is cheap and it takes an extra charge to repaint. And the glass is a bit dirty (according to my mother), but I don't have any problems myself. And there is also a refrigerator here, but full of hard ice balls. Still able to understand because the refrigerator is also old & that type of refrigerator is easy to finish. I know because I have the same refrigerator in 2007 & I myself sold it to people. Haha1 But if the cleaning service takes time to clean it would be more tasty than the one in my photo. I tried breakfast and honestly I came at 1 o'clock so that at that time the rest of bread, pudding, fruit, a little rice and a last egg. The taste of the shrimp curry is delicious and delicious, so is the pudding. As for the egg is standard. For the standard of 3 * hotel, breakfast is ok. But it was in the morning and one elevator was broken so only 1 elevator was operating. And unfortunately this causes customers so they have to wait long. But the check-out process is quite easy. It's just that when I got home I took a online taxi and the parking ticket turned out to be paid at the hotel lobby. The system is a bit strange and annoying, honestly the driver should have to get off the car.

Amaris Hotel Season City

Stayed with family (wife and 2 young children) at Amaris Hotel Seasons City Jakarta on the day of the holidays and took 2 rooms. The location of the hotel is on the 3rd floor of Seasons City Mall, we were given a room quite far from the lobby and we objected, then the room was replaced with the room near the lobby and was given an upgrade because I am a member of MySantika (Santika Important Person). The room we got was quite large and comfortable and clean. For breakfast, the menu was not too varied, but I think it is still reasonable because staying here is relatively affordable. Before check out time, we were informed through the room phone that we received the free late check out facility (because of the member), although we didn't use it because there was a next event. However, we would like to thank you for the good service of Amaris Hotel Seasons City Jakarta.

A hotel for budget travelers. This is the second time I have moved here, but if you are picky, it is better to look for another place to live! There is good internet here, and also, very importantly, a powerful air conditioner, this is absolutely necessary in the heat! The room is not very clean, the walls are stained, I made the bed with my own linen. But the price for a private room is very attractive! I got to the airport for 110 thousand rupees - this is also profitable. There are plenty of places near the hotel where you can have a delicious meal for 12-15 thousand rupees! In general, decide for yourself whether this is acceptable for you or not!

Even if it is close to the main road, the location cannot be seen from the road. Broad roads. The problem is that the air conditioner is not cold enough, the water is really small, there is no hot water, the paint in the room is dull, and the atmosphere in the room is a bit dark...
