A really beautiful place to stay. Everything about Wallawwa is exceptional and I just wish we could have stayed for longer. The house is stunning, rooms are spacious and beautiful, the food is excellent (we highly recommend the rice and curry) and the staff are lovely. Gorgeous gardens and pool too. Scrub and massage in the hotel spa was the best treatment I've ever had. Thank you. We will come back for longer next time!

The room is very new and clean. Breakfast is about 30 yuan per person. Coffee is paid separately. The air conditioner is good and new enough. There is hot water in the shower. The overall price is relatively affordable. It is really good and worth staying. The environment is like a green forest.

Very good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel grounds and the rooms were very well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced (lunch and dinner). The free transfer was excellent, journey time about 15 minutes. I will definitely come back. Thank you to the friendly staff.

Last June (June 2024), for the third or fourth time, we; my wife and two daughters stayed again at the Covanro. This place is so attractive, in terms of the people, the service, the food and the location so every time we visit Sri Lanka, we keep going back to this fabulous hotel. The people are kind, considerate, respectful and courteous in every sense of the word which I observed a trait that is coming down from the top management. Combined with that is the quality of the service they offer which is higher than expected for a hotel operating in an environment such as in Sri Lanka. For those food lovers, whatever taste you are looking for; Sri Lankan style spicy food, Asian style or Western cuisine, the chefs at the Covanro’s kitchen are capable of addressing your taste buds and, in my experience, they always exceed one’s expectations. We were highly impressed of the high standard of accommodation the Covanro offers with a wide range of rooms to select from which are large and spacious and also, a few types of luxury suites. During our stay we joined many other guests who enjoyed hotel amenities such as the swimming pool, gym and sauna which are available for the guests free of charge, bar facilities included. For any visitor, the Covanro is an excellent introduction to friendly and courteous Sri Lankan hospitality which follows the traditional greeting “Ayubowan”.

Try the new burgers. It’s phenomenal..!! Thanks to Chef Aqib & Zeeyard. They are superstars. Cafe staff inc barista’s are robin to their kitchens Batman (of course the chefs)! Okay. I’ve been an avid patron of TITO’s cafe in ground level at Marriott hotel Colombo. Always stuck to coffee and sometimes croissants. But the new and introduced burgers especially beef burger just too brilliant. The cheddar cheese, the bacon the burger the sauce’s just the right amount. Try the Spanish coffee or the cafe lattes ask for single shot of espresso! You would go wrong here.

I’ve stayed here for a one night stay due to a business activity in colombo, facilities were alright for the price, room was 217 and staff seemed tired but average communication with customers. If anyone is looking for a place around colombo for official or personal activates this is an alright place so the commute is effective and efficient. As per the average business personal and for a small family you have everything what you look for in accommodation vise, clean comfortable place, everything functioned accordingly in my room, there was an odor in the wash room but you can look pass that from my perspective to my room. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times. In conclusion, Mandarina Colombo offers a comfortable and convenient stay with friendly staff and decent amenities. It may not be the most luxurious option in Colombo, but it provides good value for those looking for well-located and welcoming accommodation.
