We spent six pleasant nights at the Liméni Village Hotel in October 2022. We had a Deluxe Double Room commanding panoramic views of the ocean (splendid sunsets), of Mani's imposing mountains, and of the village of Liméni (swimming in its gorgeous turquoise / emerald waters, where one can see the sea turtles, is a must). Whoever conceived and implemented this hotel complex should be congratulated on producing such an architectural gem that respects the surrounding location. The impeccably maintained interiors favour simple shapes and clean-cut lines, while boasting quality pieces of furniture and appliances. Breakfast is exquisite (featuring regional delicacies). Restaurant dishes are way above average. Both the owner and his staff are polite and hospitable, and treated us with warmth, cordiality and generosity. Pantheon hotel is located at the main street of Gythio, beside the sea. It has a view of the sea and the rest of the city (if you choose the front rooms with sea view and not the rooms with partial/side view of the sea). The staff is really friendly. Clean room that has a large double bed (as we requested) but with this big double bed this certain room seems to be not that big (but it ok for most couples) . Breakfast is good in order to get the energy you need to start the day. It has cereals, coffee, tea, eggs, omelets, cheese and ham, some fruits, marmalades and tahini, juice, bread and some more to choose. I would suggest you to choose the front rooms with the view of the sea including breakfast. Recommend this hotel if you visit Gythio and choose a room with sea view.

Our base was at Areopolis, at the hotel Kastro Maini, The hotel is run by a family, and they all did their best to make our stay unforgetable, The public areas are pleasant just as the rooms, which are medium in size, with a balcony, and a fully equipped bathroom. What we liked was that the room was meticulously cleaned every day and the towels were changed daily. , The breakfast offered a wide choice of mostly local tasty products. It bothered me a little that the same things were offered every day, I would have liked some variety. Would I recommend this hotel to you? Definitely, if you visit this hotel you won't be disappointed.
