Cheers Hostel

This hostel is the worst pace I've ever visited when travelling abroad.Those people don't respect privacy and pretend to be friendly start asking too much how are you.I know it's your work but plz don't bother my personal time when I'm alone,I have friends and I don't know you,it's not ok to ask me how's your day going. I feel it's ok to ask once but multiple times it's kind of passing the line. Plus I booked the hostel at the beginning is with boys and girls.I'm literally not interested in girls and I don't talk to them,then the receptionist tells me my past roommate called me unfriendly. I Just Don't wanna talk to U. I am friendly to handsome boys got no time to strangers And plus in my country people clean the table after customers eating in public restaurant.And Turkish people don't,for same price they have the worst room than other countries and with no attitude of service. You make money from foreigners and give everything higher than it worths and then have a bad attitude. I can have a better hostel in Moscow in same price and it's way more better than Istanbul. Plus they transfer me fake money then told me it's my problem.I got all my cashes from airport,the hotel just want to scam me.I should call the police. They are really fake persons pretend to be nice and scam u in the end One old fat receptionist tells me to leave only becuz he cleaned my table once(cuz I didn't know you should clean yourself after eating becuz in other countries also in my country after customers eat,they're people to clean it) But once he told me I did it He was so mean to me Plz don't book this hostel.If u don't want morans cuz problems,live alone and spend time with people you want,not random demanding strangers

It is in wonderful location with a lovely breakfast; stayed in a private room beautiful, only thing hostel little expensive, I felt; but the central location is highly appreciable & so too the attitude of the staff giving lot of information & help; Tariq helped me a lot in all respects🙏

This prime location is perfect for exploring the city's key landmarks. However, several areas need improvement. The building’s safety is a significant concern due to uneven floors that seem damaged by earthquakes. These issues should be addressed urgently. Additionally, the lack of room keys is a security issue—providing keys or a secure access system would enhance guest security. The beds are uncomfortable, affecting sleep quality, and upgrading the mattresses or adding more comfortable bedding would greatly improve comfort. Noise levels are also problematic, as the loud music from the bar makes it difficult to sleep or have a conversation. Implementing quiet hours or soundproofing rooms would benefit guests who prefer a quieter environment. The bathrooms are clean but would benefit from anti-slip bath rugs in each dorm to enhance safety. On a positive note, Fahir, a staff member at Cheers Hostel, truly stands out. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and funny, and even knew some te reo, the indigenous language of New Zealand. Fahir’s charm and attentiveness made a significant difference, helping to resolve a booking issue and making the stay more enjoyable. Overall, while the hostel’s location and Fahir’s exceptional service are notable highlights, addressing the safety, security, comfort, and noise issues would greatly improve the overall guest experience.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Cheers Hostel! The management was impeccable, ensuring everything ran smoothly and efficiently. The social atmosphere was incredible, thanks to the welcoming vibe created by both the travelers and the amazing staff, especially Fatih and Shako. They organized numerous events that truly enhanced the Istanbul experience, making it a vibrant and unforgettable trip. I enjoyed the hostel and Istanbul so much that I changed my itinerary, skipping Izmir to return to this amazing place. Without a doubt, I wouldn't book a different hostel. Cheers Hostel made my trip extraordinary!

What an amazing hostel experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Fathi, Şakir and Can were ready to help with every possible need I had, even after I was finished with my stay at cheers they were willing to help with anything! Great pub crawl parties, clean room and safe environment. The location is unbeatable as you are in the heart of old Istanbul. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to meet good people.
