An amazing find on the Isle of Arran. Best ever hotel with a quiet romantic feel. Rooms were beautifully decorated with great view of the water. Restaurant and bar added to the romantic feel of this amazing hotel. Dinner in front of a wood burning fire place. Meals had a traditional Scottish taste. Lots of choices all served hot and very tasty. Steak and ale pie was to die for. Great selection of wines and beers. My favourite, Tennents. Service was always excellent. Friendly and fast. A real bonus was, No TV. We learned how to really relax and as usual enjoy each other’s company even more. For sure if we get a chance to go back to this amazing island we will stay at the Corrie Hotel.

The only establishment serving a delicious Sunday roast. Locally sourced, perfectly cooked and seasoned, fresh, homemade and generous portion size. The price for such good quality and obvious hard work and effort is on par to burger and chips elsewhere. Service is second to none. Can not fault or recommend highly enough.

I needed a last minute room as the evening ferry back to the mainland had been cancelled, and was very happy to have found the Corrie Hotel! The staff was very kind and accommodating, and the building itself, with its own pub/restaurant and outdoor seating area directly at the sea, is really wonderful. The room I stayed in was also very comfortable, with a spaceous bathroom just across the hallway, and a superb view to the sea. Though I left again early next morning, I can highly recommend staying here and couldn't have wished for a better place for my unplanned night on this beautiful island!

From the very first moment we arrived to the final second that we said goodbye; four days later, the warmth and friendliness shown to us from staff was absolutely amazing. It is clearly apparent that the ethos of the hotel is all about the comfort of their guests; be they two legged or four! All overseen by the very personable manager, Taylor, who went out of his way to ensure that we were happy. Our room was well equipped, clean, stylish and above all, extremely comfortable. As well as the stunning sea view we particularly appreciated the radio and the high quality bed linen and pillows; very cosy! Eating at the hotel was a pleasure! The menu had a good range to choose from, and over our four day stay, we tried almost all of it! A fabulous chef as I can honestly say that without exception every dish was delicious with good portion sizes too! There has been some extensive work carried out since the building has changed ownership and this programme of work will only enhance what is already a successful and thriving holiday location. It is crystal clear that the new owners Rodger and Andy, are making it their mission to ensure that the Corrie Hotel becomes another 'Jewel in the Crown' of the beautiful Isle of Arran. A perfect base for exploring the island. We will be returning!

Had a solo visit here. Stayed in room 11 and had amazing sea views! All the staff were so friendly and the breakfast was amazing alongside the dinner I had. Really enjoyable stay and a great location. Had the venison for dinner which was so nice and a good selection of nice beers.

I stayed at the Corrie Hotel for 2 nights in Room 11 (double room with separate bathroom). The location of the hotel is stunning, and very conveniently accessed by bus from Brodick. I know the hotel is undergoing renovation and upgrades, so I hope the review helps with that. My room was fine, the view was charming and it was neat and clean but it could have done with more amenities( better quality sheets, water glasses, fridge or ice bucket as it's the summer etc). It had clearly been painted quite recently, but I suspect it was done in a hurry, for example the window had to be propped open and couldn't be locked as the lock was painted shut. The bathroom was clean but in need of a renovation and the only amenity provided was shower gel, this should be clear on the website (which states the bathroom has amenities) if this was not an oversight. I had dinner at the restaurant both nights, the food was ok but the restaurant lacked any atmosphere and the furnishing , tableware were all quite basic (except the wine glasses, which were lovely). The separate pub area looked much nicer and cosy and had a sea view, so I suspect the restaurant space was an overflow area. Given I booked a table on the first night and was a hotel guest it was disappointing to not get a better table, especially as the pub had tables free. I had not intended to eat there a second night but after Mara's fish bar ran out of food I was grateful to get a last minute table, again in the restaurant area. Overall a pleasant stay, but I think the room rate (120 per night) was quite high, definitely the absolute maximum and I note the room often goes for more.

Fabulous location, being run by people who live in the community, so a great spirit and atmosphere. Wonderful views from the beer garden and rooms at the front of the hotel. Friendly staff. Magazines to borrow were a nice touch and we enjoyed having a radio in the front bedrooms
