My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and cannot stop saying how great of a place this was. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the food was amazing, and the views were incredible. It was hard to believe that this place was real! We did several activities with the entertainment crew - AB, Pablo and Brian, including a cooking class lead by Chef Grizelda making delicious chile rellenos, a tequila tasting, star gazing, and a nighttime Mayan show. These guys were awesome and we loved hanging out with them. They are a big reason as to why our stay was so lovely. The hotel has many dining options and we ended up going to Spezia 3 times during our 6 day stay because we loved it so much. Edgar was our waiter 2 times and he was very attentive and helped us make great selections. The Cacio e Pepe was the best I've ever had. He was such a pleasure to speak with and made us feel like we were at home. He brought the chef out each time and the chef made by husband a special fish dish on our last night that he loved. Edgar brought us the Lemon Meringue Tart and it was by far the best dessert we had while there. Even though this was our favorite, all of the restaurants were great. The steakhouse was the most basic food wise but the service was awesome. The sides were better than our main of the ribeye. For one of our last meals, Guillermo made us table side crepes at Unik for breakfast and they were delicious! He was such a pleasure. Breakfast most days was at Wildfire with the La Vista menu and the service and food were top notch. Our very last meal was at Wildfire because we had to get the chicken torta one last time. Carlos was our server most of the mornings and he was delightful. We told him we had to catch our taxi in 30 minutes and he made sure we got our food and drinks with plenty of time to spare, while also getting us a goodbye dessert saying "hasta pronto". That kind gesture was huge for us. We also really enjoyed our time in all the pools and loved the main pool with the swim up bar. Daniel and David were our bartenders and they were so kind and made awesome drinks! There are also bartenders and servers at the hotel beach that will bring drinks and food directly to you, even while in the water. Your stay includes 2 butlers to help make sure everything is perfect. Angel and Jenny were ours and they helped with our arrival, setting up reservations, golf cart rentals, spa services and took care of everything in between. We had to take the ferry back on the last day due to the winds and Angel made sure everything was buttoned up so that we just had to get into the taxi. When we arrived at the ferry landing, there was an Impressions worker there who helped with our bags and gave us direction and when we landed back in Cancun, there was another Impression worker (Salvador) who made sure our transportation to the airport was there and timely.
