We decided to cut our skiing holiday short and spend a night in Innsbruck so booked last minute. What a find!! The hotel is very quirky and the hospitality 2nd to none. The owner was fabulous and everyone was very friendly and helpful. They have private parking should it be required. Our room was a ‘maisonette’ so the bed was on a mezzanine which might not suit all but we loved it. Very clean and classy hotel and we would certainly stay again if in the area.

I wanted to love this hotel, but I couldn’t. There is no air conditioning so the room was extremely hot. The bed was on a second floor loft, which made it even hotter. Also, we could hear our neighbors very clearly through the walls. There was no coffee in the rooms and coffee in the cafe downstairs was pretty pricey. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately it’s lack of AC and amenities would make me look elsewhere next time I was in Innsbruck.

Pros: - Great location close to the old part of the city. - Rooms are modern and clean, albeit quite small and sparsely populated if that matters to you. - Good value. Cons: - This place is not quite in the category of “service with a smile.” - The lack of air conditioning may be a problem for some in the summer months.

A super little find in a quiet part of town. Scandi-chic, homely and good quality/price .. although breakfast may be cheaper elsewhere here is lovely coffee and a freshly baked croissant for little more than the chain down the road. Yes, the bath towels could be bigger, yes, there could be a room safe and yes, there could be a TV (a top-notch Bluetooth speaker is in the room). But if you want calm, quality and a sense of well-being this is for you.

What a wonderful experience. We are on a road trip and fell lucky as we were passing through Innsbruck and wanted a comfort break. We ended up staying for one night but wishing it could have been more. Inspired design and comfort by a generous and charming owner. Don’t pass this one by.

Very warm welcome, helpful, nicely decorated room with A/C but no fridge nor TV but an excellent speaker system to connect with. Great location. Make sure that you book a parking lot with the reservation. They only have a few parking in a parking garage nearby 3 min walk.

My husband and I stayed at Faktorei on super short notice and had an amazing night in fabulous Innsbruck. Our room was on the top story facing a quiet courtyard -- very modern, impeccably clean, with VERY comfortable king size bed. Breakfast is amazing -- a tower of all good things to eat, replete with Austrian rye bread. Anja and her staff make you feel right at home, more like visiting friends than hotel guests. Parking is a pain in the ---, if you have to deal with a car. Had dinner at the 'Wilderin' in downtown Innsbruck the night before -- a locally sourced foody type bar and restaurant... sublime!
