The boss is very polite, the view at the beach is also great, but it is a pity that it is because I live on the first floor. The stereo is automatically turned on at 5 o'clock in the morning. It is too noisy to sleep. I didn't see the boss until the checkout. The music is so loud that it is released for a long time.

But it doesnât make you feel noisy and crowded, but itâs unexpectedly peaceful.
Although the space in the camper is limited, it is well-equipped and soundproofed, and the sound of wind and waves can be isolated.
There are tables and chairs outside the camper, creating the feeling of a small courtyard. It is very relaxing and comfortable to chat, eat and drink here, and there is an incomparable sea view. Even if you don't go anywhere, it is worth spending the whole day.

You have to drive a little further ahead to see the signboard. The environment is very good. The four-person room is also larger than expected.

The last time I came to Hualien was with family years ago, back then the hotels we stayed at were dated and very local. Many years has passed and its nice to see Hualien finally has its first international branded hotel. For me the qualities that define a good hotel are in the details; rooms having double sinks, quality of bedsheets and pillows, gym having brand new Technogym...all exceeded expectations, not to mention the beautiful design of the hotel and artwork in the lobby. Apparently there is onsen as well, which is currently under repairs from earthquake. The staff we encountered were all super friendly and professional, we had a set dinner at the Chinese restaurant and everything was delicious. There weren't many tourists this time around so it was pretty quiet, hope to come back again soon when onsen is open!

Great value for what is offered. The location is not near the city center, but a good retreat in a quiet area. Great hospitality, everyone was so cordial, and good breakfast buffet. The rec center was cool. Must bring own toiletries but you can ask for robe, extra towels, etc.

This is my second visits to this hotel , again totally no desire to leave this cozy, fully relaxed enviroment, wave keep splashing to the crescent bay ,rhythmic sound of wave ,beautiful cobblestone laid along the crescent beach, beautiful mountain ridge array beside,blue sky ,fresh air, sunlight shine through the thin white cloud and reflecting with silver flash like diamond jumping above the sea. What a magnificent views. Love their floor to ceiling glass window, sit on the sofa , gazing the full view of the bay , easy to fall into a zen spirit realm, into a quiet space. Roof top is a âwowâ place ,zero blind spot ,first light and twilight moment are the most fasinated moment to stay there for a long time. Thump up for their environment and facility, I shall be back.

AAnonymous UserFabulous stay. Love the quiet, serene ambience although there are sounds of dogs and animals which is common in nature. The host, Mr Zhang is so warm and helpful that we felt treated like old friends coming for a visit. There is a dog and many cats in the house but non threatening. They make themselves scarce, somehow if guests are afraid of them.
As the BnB is up on the mountain, itâs easier to get around if there a car. The host goes out of his way to help and provide advice on where to go and how to get there. Perfect host!
The only room with twin beds is the family room for four. The other room is spacious to with king or queen beds.
A good place for a retreat.

GGL64Hotel provides free afternoon tea and snacks for guests, as well as supper. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the night market. The hotel emailed us as we had left some items in our rooms while hurriedly packing our bags. My sister and I were caught in the earthquake on 0403. Thanks to the professional front desk agents, we were able to get to the train station in hope of catching an afternoon train back to Taipei. Unfortunately, after waiting for about 3 hours, we were informed that all trains were cancelled. Our guide, Mason, who took us on the Taroko gorge tour the day before, was super super kind and helpful who went out of his way to rent a car and drove all 7 of us from the tour group to Kaohshiung. We spent the night there before taking the hsr to Taipei. Mason is truly exceptional, authentic and passionate. We are really grateful to Mason. Indeed, we are blessed to have met kind hearted souls in Hualien. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Hualien, Taiwan.

QQingLocation of this hotel is very convenient and near to many food areas and there are many retail shops around too. Thankful for the room upgrade as it was very spacious and we had a comfortable stay. Front desk staff is helpful and resourceful as they are able to help find certain information that we require. Appreciate that they provide umbrellas at the entrance for hotel guests too.

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Xinxin Noodle House and 5 minutes to Dongdaemun Night Market. There is no breakfast attached to the B&B, but there are many delicious restaurants nearby.
If you arrive early in the afternoon, you can park in the parking lot of Dongdaemun Night Market (free)
The dog in the B&B is very cute and coquettish. I stayed for another 2 nights. The boss reminded me that there is a washing machine upstairs that you can use for free. It dried in the sun overnight. It is a different washing machine than the one used to clean the bed sheets in the room. This is my second time here. I will consider this place next time!

GGuest UserYanbo Hotel Hualien is a good hotel: it has a window with a good view, a bathtub (high ceiling), drinks in the small refrigerator, many lights, mirrors everywhere, especially makeup mirrors, a TV with projector, and high-end Bath products (valvola Faramo), pick-up service, some âso specialâ emphasis, such as bedding, environmentally friendly ideas, etc.
Itâs a pity that I didnât experience the sauna because I was too tired555
I love Yanbo. I will stay here next time I come to Hualien.

GGuest UserGreat hotel. Stayed in the twin room with ocean views and balcony. The room is very clean, comfortable and quiet. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi on the third floor is a treat. A swimming cap is compulsory. They sell it at the hotel for $120 TWD. The hotel is about 2km from the city centre. They provide a complimentary shuttle service on the hour from morning to 5pm. Just ask the concierge. It was a very pleasant stay.

WWayneHXLWe got upgraded to a bigger quad room with windows for free, which was very nice.
Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided.
Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well.
Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too!
Service: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than âname labelsâ.
Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night.
Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

It is very safe and private. The water pressure in the bathroom is strong enough to make bathing comfortable and helpful for relieving travel fatigue.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
