Royal Island Resort

The location is good and beautiful, but the access from Male Airport is pretty bad and hotel kept us wait at the airport for quite long. They only have 2 flight in one day and they never tell us the exact time previously. The facility is not bad though.

Gorgeous resort staff were amazing a very special thanks to Thoo who took care of all our needs along with our room attendant Jenva & Pandy who looked after us in the restaurant most evenings, a holiday to remember couldn’t fault a thing, stunning scenery comfortable rooms x

This resort is a perfect paradise. Everything is tailor toward complete relaxation and peace. We enjoyed everything about this trip; the friendly staff, the beautiful grounds, the delicious and plentiful variety of food, just everything!! The reef is full of colorful creatures big and small and right off of your secluded beach. We are not people to go on the same trip twice, but we cannot wait to get back to this resort!

Had the best service here in Royal Island from the second we arrived at the resort to our departure from the resort. Our host, Nipun, ensured we had everything, updated us with daily activities, answered questions we had, and sorted our departure arrangements. He was just amazing. We were also treated very well during meal times by our servers, Surojith and Nirmal. Always ask before they cleared our tables and have great conversations in between. Room service by Shamalan was very clean and meticulous. When we mentioned that our room doesn’t need cleaning, we only need coffee, he stocked up our room with more coffee than we could consume. Lovely experience as a whole! Hope to return. Seeing manta rays was a definite bonus!

It was the perfect place to gather the family especially after 6 years! Service by staff there was wonderful. We were hosted by Mr.Nipun and he never failed to put on a smile whenever he talks. A very pleasant and beautiful resort indeed. Many sports available, couldn't be bored

We had a wonderful stay, the island and its vegetation, its reef fish turtles, the quality of the infrastructure and villas on the beach,the organisation of transfers, and life on the hôtel: all is really good As French, We appreciate a lot the quality of the catering and the culinary diversity offered, all the staff of the island. A big thank you: to our always caring host Mark who responded kindly and patiently to all our requests! To our very kind and professionals waiters Abdulla and Nashui always « aux petits soins » for us. A mention also to the staff in charge of sports activities: wakeboard fishing etc. We had read a lot of good coments before coming and it's really deserved!

The hotel is great. The food is delicious and you have a lot of options to choose - from vegan to beef. The staff is really kind and helpful. Recommending the SPA center and especially “Nasya abhyanda” procedure which is life changing for problems with the sinusitis. The island is amazing for snorkelling. Calm beach with privacy.
