I couldn't get tv to work, phone didn't work, cracks all over bathroom floors and shower.
Front desk clerk came and got tv running, but couldn't fix the phone.

I called the hotel around 10 pm to let them know I would be checking in late. When I arrived at around 4 am. I waited 15 minutes to enter the building bc the front desk attendant was no where to be found. No one was answering our phone calls or the buzzer on the front door. Immediately upon laying down I receive a phone call from the front desk that I need to come back to the front desk to put down a card for incidentals. The front desk attendant struggled to add the payment so I came down for no reason. I also asked about a 12 pm check out since we arrived so late and was told that wasn’t possible and I’d have to call down to the front in the morning. At exactly 11 o clock we received a phone call from the front desk asking us to leave the room. By 11:13 we had to knocks on the door. Never have I felt so rushed to leave a property. Not the southern hospitality I was looking for.

Our hotel remote was not clean. The room didn’t seem that clean. Had to take a cold shower the first day. Reservation was jacked up upon arrival.

The initial room that I was assigned reeked of the smell of ********* to the point that as an individual who is allergic to the drug became dizzy and disoriented. After regaining faculties the other guest in the room had to lead one outside for a breath of fresh air. As the 2 guests were quickly reassigned a different room, however; it was appalling that this concern was not rectified by the cleaning staff or at a minimum brought to the attention of the front desk staff and/or leadership.
Although medical ********* may be legally utilized in the state of MS, many residents and/or visitors of the state do not and will not indulge in such.
It is unfortunate that some as well as many others had to be subjected to this action which shows all that La Quinta Inn and Suites owned and operated by Wyndham Worldwide does not pay attention to the details of the properties nor the health concerns of their guests.

I know the hotel is pet friendly but there should be a way for people like me that are that is fearful of dogs & have allergies. The animals are on a leash but owners alway say "it's a puppy or they are friendly " allowing the dog to come up to you. Please do something for those who just afraid of all dogs & have a medical condition. I was so uncomfortable leaving the room. Customer service was the best. Friendly & professional

It was very noisy, lots of slamming doors late at night. Also, a lot of mystery 'creaking' from the building, which seemed weird. My ground floor room looked right out into the front parking lot, which was unsettling. The whole lobby smelled of disinfectant, too.

We stopped at this hotel as part of a road trip driving through Memphis. We arrived after midnight and slept until breakfast. We woke up to eat breakfast and then went back to the room to shower and get ready for the next leg of our trip. The power went out in the hotel and the room quickly began to get hot. We went in the hall to see what was going on and a housekeeper said that the power was out and no idea as to why or when that might change. No one else said anything to us about it or came to the rooms to check on guests. We packed our things up and left as there was no power to get ready and no air conditioning. As we left, the staff at the front desk again said nothing about the power being out as they sat in a dark hotel without air conditioning.
