pros: few minutes away from the metro, convenience stores nearby and close to the coast. Cons: discrete corners not cleaned well, bugs found on bed and compensation refused.

The room rates during New Year's Day were ridiculously high. Even for a holiday, your facilities don't justify a price over 2000. The biggest flaw was the height and size of the sink; it's so small and low that I had to half-squat just to wash my face, otherwise, I could only wash my hands. On top of that, there was a huge noise late at night. Even with the air conditioning off, it was still incredibly loud. When I reported it to the front desk, a staff member came and brushed it off, saying it was the hotel's ventilation system noise and that every room was the same. I truly regret choosing this hotel. The soundproofing was also terrible; the foreigners in the room next door made all sorts of strange noises throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. The surrounding area isn't great either. It's incomparable to the Cityview Hotel in Yau Ma Tei where I stayed the first night; this place was absolutely not worth it.

The hotel's location is super convenient; it's about a 10-minute walk from Fortress Hill MTR Station, and there are plenty of bus routes everywhere. The surrounding area has tons of unique little shops, a lot of great food options, and many banks (HSBC, Bank of China, etc., downstairs). The hotel facilities are very new, and the room was clean and tidy. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel room's bedding and towels were all very clean. Everything was great, except for the sealed windows. Although it's right next to the road, the windows are well-sealed and soundproof, so my sleep wasn't disturbed. The Indian guy at the front desk spoke fluent Cantonese, which was really impressive. The other two lovely ladies at the front desk also provided excellent service; check-in and check-out were both seamless. When my room door wouldn't open due to low battery, one of the ladies quickly came up and replaced it for me – very efficient service. The hotel's location is also close to Fortress Hill MTR station, making Hong Kong travel very convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the tram stop is right outside, making it very quick to get to Causeway Bay and Wan Chai. It's an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Hong Kong. The shower water pressure in the room was great, and the water temperature was stable, making for a comfortable shower. Finally, I must mention that the hotel's toiletries, especially the shampoo, smelled amazing – a lovely milky scent. My hair felt smooth and soft after washing, which I really liked personally. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

I moved here from another hotel I wasn't happy with. The room is small, but it's well-maintained. The hygiene is excellent, and there's no musty smell even during the humid spring season.

There are two Shama properties near each other - 5 mins walk Was given an accessible room. Small but comfortable Room was on the 4th floor. Both the hallway and the room smelt a bit damp of that seasonal Hong Kong flavor Close to subway and buses

The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were exceptionally polite. It's a really comfortable hotel. My only minor complaint is that there was no bedside lamp in the room, making it a bit dim at night.

Booked the Hotel for just 1 night before the HK Marathon. Great location for the event! Clean room with private bathroom and city view. Good compromise between price and space. Recommended!
