It’s amazing!!!)

I only have 3 words: Stay at Karula. You will be delighted! The reserve is amazing, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, the rangers are knowledgeable and the rooms are top notch. It was also nice that you didn't have to be escorted around the property since the more dangerous animals don't have access to the resort. It's also right across the street from the Hoeidspruit airport so no commute time!

Spectacular rooms, fine dining 3 times a day with a spectacular wine list to compliment all your meals. Fantastic big 5 game viewing ! Wonderfull spa with lots of different treatment options and very knowledgable staff.

Beautiful resort. Spacious and extremely well appointed villa including a large deck and our own heated pool. Very. very comfortable. Staff were amazing, food delicious. Safari experiences were extraordinary, we got so close to animals and witnessed some amazing sights.

Our family enjoyed a magical 3 nights at Karula early July 2026. If you ever have the opportunity, stay here! You will be welcomed by wonderful staff (including Elvis, Shane, and Thuli). You will eat and drink well. You will have time to relax. And you will enjoy the most amazing morning and afternoon/early evening game rides. This is a true 5-star experience from the airport pick up and every detail that follows. You'll likely see all the animals you've dreamed of, and some VERY UP CLOSE thanks to the great work of your guide and tracker (Elvis and Shane - what a team!!!).

I would happily and highly recommend Kapama Karula. The game viewing here is absolutely spectacular—we were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five within our first two game drives alone! Highlights included watching lions over a fresh kill, incredible leopard sightings, majestic elephants, and massive herds of buffalo. The villas themselves are huge, incredibly luxurious, and every single detail has been thoughtfully considered and deeply appreciated. The dining experience was equally wonderful, with the traditional boma dinner being a standout highlight. To top it all off, the team surprised me with a birthday cake, song, and dance, which made the stay unforgettable. Every single staff member we interacted with was lovely, and we truly did not want to leave!

Kapama Karula truly lived up to its name as a place of peace. The ambiance was beautiful and calming, the service was thoughtful and detailed, and the game drives were exciting and skillfully executed. We had everything we could have asked for to make our experience comfortable and memorable - ponchos/blankets/warm water packs for rainy game drives, a wide variety of delicious food designed to accommodate our varying dietary restrictions, complimentary laundry services, gorgeous spa facilities, immaculately maintained grounds, and so much more. The massages at the spa were phenomenal. We saw the Big Five and drank/ate in abundance. We will miss this piece of paradise on earth!

Kapama Karula was truly the most amazing experience. The accommodations were superior with huge spacious rooms with all the amenities. Each room is very private feeling, with your own deck and swimming pool. The dining staff is exceptional and the food delicious with many different dining experiences. The safari bush drives and guide were fabulous taking us on an amazing adventure!

We had a truly wonderful time at Kapama Karula during our stay in South Africa. The resort is luxurious, beautifully maintained, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. One of the highlights was definitely the safari experience. Our driver, Tumelo, did his very best to help us spot the Big Five and made every game drive enjoyable and exciting. The food and service at the resort were excellent. As vegetarians, we appreciated that chef Sello, prepared a new vegetarian menu for both lunch and dinner. Meshack, our waiter, provided outstanding service and made every meal feel special. We were always given several options to choose from, and the food was consistently excellent. Overall, we had a very special and memorable stay. The combination of luxury accommodation, great food, excellent service, and unforgettable safari experiences made our time at Kapama Karula truly fantastic.
