Pros: Lovely rooms (two-bedroom) which had everything you needed. Nicely decorated and felt upscale. Hotel was slightly off the main road and rooms were quiet. HCMC roads are busy and noisy!! Small but clean gym, small playground for kids (indoor and outdoor). Pool is big and clean. Restaurant area next to pool. Lobby and reception area is very nice, smells good and has a luxurious feel. Location was good, near the zoo. Cons: only one: breakfast. Vietnamese food is very good but this was the hotel’s weakest link. Limited choice and not that delicious, if you got there after 8.30am almost all the warm food was cold. Hope this can be improved.

Overall the service and rooms were pretty good, however there was a little embarrassing moment at check-in when they asked the me to write down on paper the name of my girlfriend when she was already on the booking. They proceeded to tell me that it is okay this time only, but next time I need to book an extra room for my girlfriend. It was really embarrassing and I was actually kind of offended. I won't be paying for an extra room next time just quietly, If I am turned away I will take my business elsewhere.

We chose the Somerset Chancellor due to it’s location and the ability to comfortably fit our family of five. The apartments are relatively basic but clean and comfortable with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment, we did need help with plane tickets and the team on the desk were great, helping us work through. The convenience store attached to the hotel was very handy!

The 2-bedroom apartment we stayed in was large and a great space for my family of four. The facilities were very nice but the service is excellent. We would like to thank Handsome Van at the front desk along with every person at the front desk for the next level of service they provided. I really was blown away by the great service we received from the doorman to the servers to the drivers to and from the airport. It has been 5 years since I have been back to Vietnam and the service at the hotel was spectacular. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! They really made my stay wonderful. Stayed here for two weeks while I was lecturing nearby. Clean. comfortable room - good value for money. But staff were very helpful and caring. I wasn't feeling well one day and the breakfast manager conjured up a lovely rice porridge for me. The hotel is on a lively street with a variety of restaurant choices. I will be back.

This hotel was chosen because our original hotel decided to cancel our booking. There is a lot of choice with regards to accommodation in Saigon and choosing is case of ‘pot luck’. After a quick search, a choice was made… On arrival to the airport, we were greeted by the hotel’s transport and driver. He whisked us through the mad traffic of this town. Our transport was organised by Ms Thoai Yen through several emails who made sure that we were sorted for our pickup. A big thank you to her! On arrival at the hotel we received a warm welcome at this hotel. We were allocated our room which was 619. This was a big, bright, airy room which fit the needs for our stay. The bathroom was a good size too with an excellent shower. Food and drink were superb at this hotel! Breakfast was included in the rate and there was an excellent choice to be had. We had two meals here as well which were excellent and very good value for money. Considering the hotel was busy for breakfast, the restaurant was quiet both nights we visited which was a shame as the food is excellent. I accept there is plenty of choices to be had with regards food in Saigon, so it’s personal preference I suppose ….. The facilities at the hotel was good too including a swimming pool on the roof. It’s not the biggest though and the day I went to swim, it was rammed with a group of kids. Still luck of the draw…. Staff were friendly and very helpful here at the hotel. Overall a generally great stay at this hotel! We had an issue on the first night as we were awoken at 00:30 by a constant thumping noise which was frustrating as we had to be up to do a city tour. A phone call about 50 minutes later, as enough was enough, I got hold of reception and 2 minutes later security was knocking on the door. He didn’t speak a lot of English, but whatever he said and did, the problem was solved, so a big thank you to him. What it was still remains a mystery to me.. After doing the city tour, I realised that the hotels location is excellent! You are not far from the ‘Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Post Office’ which is handy. Saigon is a huge city broken up into Districts, and the Muong Thanh is in District 1 which most tours will pick you up from with no hassles at all. You really can’t go wrong staying at this hotel…..

They shall do everything in their power to make the stay as pleasant as possible. For example, Long advised us to go to look at the firework from the roof of Roseland Sweet Hotel and reserved a VIP table, we asked 2 additional heads and were brought in an eye-spot, ... It was a wonderful stay at Le Merdien Saigon. Check in was a breeze and Ms.Hanni who was on duty was professional and able to address the concern on a minor defect in the room toilet. The issue was rectified while I was outside and issue was fixed prior to returning back to the hotel room. Attentive to the details she verified to ensure everything is in order in the next day. Other concerns were also addressed during check-in and also swift arrangement to address some other issues. A wonderful surprise to a fruit platter as well! We also ordered the in room dining food for dinner and it was good, thanks to the wonderful chef who brought the food up. Overall it was a good stay again in Le Meridien and like to compliment the warm hospitality and excellent customer service to Ms. Hanni and also to the manager on duty . Will be back staying at Le Merdien Saigon in the future. A minor feedback to the Global Marriott bonvoy app ( not Vietnam specific) if the room booking could have a list of default options for customer to be notified if the booking is primarily for room only vs room with breakfast vs room with addon (i.e breakfast , etc ) so that customer would be able to know easily during online booking . Current application may be challenging to navigate these options.

Was recommended Intercon and it did not disappoint. Enjoyable stay for a girls' weekend and birthday trip. The hotel's location is the best- right across the Book Street, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office and a short walk to a street full of lovely cafes and restaurants and a slightly longer walk to the City Hall and Opera House. We were given a room on the 15th floor with a great view. Beds were very comfortable. Service was friendly and prompt. We will return!

From the airport to the hotel, Grab was used, 131.000VND (about 780 yen) return 232.000VND (about 1380 yen). It has just opened, everything is new, and it is the same as a Japanese business hotel. The front desk staff were cheerful, kind and polite, and the employee education was well done, and the customer service was great. The deluxe room is spacious 々, comfortable beds, bathroom facilities are all TOTO products, amenities are substantial, temperature control water pressure is perfect shower and perfect. Breakfast is also rich in variety with Japanese and Western food pho, especially miso soup is the Japanese taste! It was delicious. The elevator is room key authentication and has complete security measures. The rooftop pool is also wide 々 and comfortable. It is located on the street that is one back from the Japanese town, but it is a convenient place to go anywhere. When I requested to change the breakfast the next morning to the meal box for late night check-out, I was very happy to have a Japanese lunch box at check-out. Thank you very much! I was able to spend comfortably. I want a stay that is completely the same as the Japanese business environment, and I want to eat delicious Japanese food for breakfast! This is an absolute recommended hotel for those who say. Very satisfied, Lipi confirmed!

I really enjoyed my week stay at The Bloom. The room was spacious. The best thing about the hotel is the front desk staff was very attentive. They are good at opening doors 24/7. I arrived six hours early before check-in and I was helped a lot with recommendations and was welcomed really well by Phuoc (sorry maybe the spelling is wrong) - he was great! We also really enjoyed Quin who we bothered everyday with advice lol! There was also the tall man and the other man who is usually there were really helpful as well. Northern Charm is a nice little hotel in a great location in District 1. It is within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions and popular bars/restaurants. We were upgraded for free on our arrival which was a nice touch. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The bathroom amenities were limited but it was also very clean. The view over the surrounding area was quite lovely - you could see the cathedral (it’s scaffolded now but sure will be lovely when it’s fixed.) Unfortunately, we had some issue with the bathroom flooding. The management offered to change our room but since we only had one more night before check out, we didn’t change. The damp smell was very overwhelming after this and we had to open the windows to clear it. The breakfast was quite limited in options - there could be more pastries, cereals, yoghurts and more hot options but what we had was very nice and set us up for the day.

This hotel saved us when another hotel didn't honour our booking. Super friendly staff gave us a really nice room, actually suite size. Came with cooking facilities . Really clean , sleek , and modern looking. No smart tv though but good WiFi and lots of good steet good nearby. In a laneway so it's quiet . We really had a great 6 days here. Pet Friendly. Highly recommend. Not expensive for what you get . Great friendly English speaking front desk staff.

Lovely homestay hotel, located within easy walking distance to district one and three, on a side street off the main drag. There is a Family Mart right next door, for any snacks or beverages you may need. If you have a craving for McDonald's or Popeye's, they're about a ten minute walk away: otherwise, there are many local restaurants everywhere you look. I would definitely recommend this hotel, as they have a wonderful staff and the rooms have a funky decor. No elevator, but it's only three stories, so no big deal.

My first time staying in a hostel and it surpassed all my expectations. I stayed in the mixed dorms which are modern, spacious and so clean. The bed was very comfortable with good individual lighting. The showers were nice n clean with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available for guest use. The Japanese styled toilets were also very clean. The location of the hostel is spot on with everything within few mins walking distance like restaurants, cafes, spas, 7 eleven, family mart and even the Viacom Centre mall! All the people at their smile station are super friendly providing some great inputs and suggestions specially Marcus, Harry and June(you guys were great and made my stay more relaxed and enjoyable). A superb experience and really looking forward to staying at Meander Saigon again during my next visit.
