After a very long day of driving and making it through Dallas, I needed to stop for a few hours sleep. This Econo-Lodge is right off I-35 making it easy to find. I stayed in room 216 upstairs, which if I remember might've faced I-35. The parking lot was well lit, and the grounds typical of an older motel, nothing remarkable. 216 had a king size bed which was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The furniture was old and showed wear, there was nothing fancy or comfortable about the hard plastic chairs. The bathroom wasn't in terrible shape, but the carpet in the room could've used a deep clean. The a/c worked well, and the only real issue I had was the constant traffic noise from I-35.

Not gonna lie, I had very low expectations for this place, but it was a very pleasant stay. A total lifesaver since my previous reservation for another hotel in another city had canceled due to weather conditions prior in the week. The staff was very nice and the room was very nice and clean. The room I stayed in did not smell like cigarettes, which was my biggest concern. Very lucky to have found this place because all of the other hotels that I tried calling were fully booked. Only thing that caught my eye was the bathtub. Definitely recommend bringing shower shoes with you on your travels.

After a very long day of driving and making it through Dallas, I needed to stop for a few hours sleep. This Econo-Lodge is right off I-35 making it easy to find. I stayed in room 216 upstairs, which if I remember might've faced I-35. The parking lot was well lit, and the grounds typical of an older motel, nothing remarkable. 216 had a king size bed which was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The furniture was old and showed wear, there was nothing fancy or comfortable about the hard plastic chairs. The bathroom wasn't in terrible shape, but the carpet in the room could've used a deep clean. The a/c worked well, and the only real issue I had was the constant traffic noise from I-35.

A total lifesaver since my previous reservation for another hotel in another city had canceled due to weather conditions prior in the week. The staff was very nice and the room was very nice and clean. The room I stayed in did not smell like cigarettes, which was my biggest concern. Very lucky to have found this place because all of the other hotels that I tried calling were fully booked. Only thing that caught my eye was the bathtub. Definitely recommend bringing shower shoes with you on your travels.
