Hotels near Midoricho Nichome Dai 1 Park in Higashikurume

Hotel was easy accessible from Shinjuku station through an underpass. There’s a video from hotel website that shows how to get to hotel using the underpass. There are eateries/restaurants/Lawson/familymart in the hotel. Lobby looks nice and grand. However the room and toilet are kind of old fashioned. Luckily it was still quite clean. The laundry machine for washing and drying were separate. After wash you have to go and manually transferred to dryer :( and you can’t monitor the washing status through tv. 2 other hotels we stayed b4 have this service. The rooms and facilities needed an upgrade. Will not come back again.

I have stayed in this hotel twice. I chose a double room when traveling with my daughter. Although the room is small, it is very clean and has a separate bathroom for taking a bath. Breakfast includes relatively simple Japanese food such as rice and miso soup, and coffee is provided until ten o'clock. There are many restaurants not far from the hotel with rich choices. Not far away there is a bamboo forest park and a clear river, which is a good place for walking and sightseeing.

Had a super early flight into Haneda and wasn't feeling well because of lack of sleep and an uncomfortable flight, I was ready to pay for an extra day to just to be able to check-in early and get some sleep. I got to the hotel before the reception started shift, when the receptionist came in I asked if I could check-in early because I wasn't feeling well, she checked my reservation and said the room wasn't ready but a double bed was available so I could rest there and switch to my single room at the normal check-in time. I felt bad and asked if I can just pay the difference to change my reservation to the double bed so they don't have to clean the room again but she said it's fine and she'll just go in and clean again before the next guest comes in. They went out of their way to help me out and I was really touched by this gesture. THANK YOU AGAIN!

The impression that the hotel has a very clear advantages and disadvantages. ① Room Very large compared to the average hotel in Tokyo. What impressed me as a parent with children was that the sofa and bed were generally low, and the equipment was high and well hidden in the cupboard and the child could not get it. On the other hand, I didn't know where the equipment was too hidden to see, so I don't know where it was, so I think the staff should explain the basics when I arrived in the room. (There was no explanation) ➁ Facility Rooftop Spa costs an additional fee, but it is worth it. If it was sunny, Mt. Fuji could be seen, and I was very satisfied because it was a hot spring. ➂ Service Overall, the staff was nice to talk to me when I felt in trouble. Free drinks and bread are provided depending on the time of day, and you can take it back to your room. What was disappointing was the restaurant, and it was a big minus that it took a lot of time to serve. I wonder if it took more than ３０ minutes to provide the sashimi. I was surprised that the main came first for some reason. Breakfast was also served late, so late customers were crowded in the lobby. ④ＳＤＧｓ To be clear, this is ruining this hotel. ＳＤＧｓ I think it should be enlightened, but what this hotel is doing is clearly a cost reduction named ＳＤＧｓ. It is because guests stay at a high price hotel to experience the extraordinary feeling, and I think that the real pleasure of staying at a hotel is to enjoy the equipment and amenities that the hotel is particular about. Even so, this hotel stingy with a toothbrush. (One ５００ You can choose whether to buy a high bamboo toothbrush or bring it with you in the mystery of the yen) There are only the minimum amenities in the room. (In this price range, I think it's okay to enhance lotion and emulsion a little more. It's a lineup similar to a business hotel. Of course, it's of a reasonable quality ...) These are at the rooftop spa. There were all the menity, but it seems that it will be reduced in the future from the viewpoint of ＳＤＧｓ (even though I pay an extra fee ...) The restaurant gave the child a paper straw, but The child will soon be chewed and useless, so as a result, it will be a large consumption of straws. I was really wondering if this was ＳＤＧｓ. Anyway, it's a pity that it was a result of being forced to endure and unreasonable. .. I wondered if I could not easily extract the goodness of ＳＤＧｓ a little more flexibly and provide it to customers instead of forcing ＳＤＧｓ to customers. I think this hotel is top-notch if it has it. I was worried about it because it was a good hotel.

I laughed next to the love hotel, but it was a decent guest house, and it was better to say a capsule hotel. There was a bathroom, but it was too dirty to enter because I was scared. Use only shower All amenities such as showers are available, including large towels. It's amazing for this price! Amenity is handed over in a dedicated bag, a system that returns everything at check-out. Use a dedicated disposable slipper. I think the location is good.

Excellent location in Shinjuku, right opposite the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, where you can go up to the observatories for free and get great views. The hotel itself is quite old now but it’s been refurbished. Lots of rooms so it’s quite busy, but there are staff everywhere to help you. Good value if you can book early enough and get a decent rate.

Having never stayed at a dorm-style capsule hotel before, I was amazed at how quiet and clean it was. The small capsule/pod had a mattress, a TV, toiletries, and even pajamas! Even though the “door” was really just a curtain, I was not disturbed by too much noise from people walking through the corridors. But then again, this was Japan, and people (even foreigners) are extremely polite, and aware of other’s personal spaces. The locker-style bathroom was huge, with about 20-30 vanity stations each with a sink, space for all your toiletries, plus a hairdryer, and all the amenities you would have in a normal hotel room. The shower and toilet stalls were sparky-clean, even though this was a common area shared by all ladies. The men’s dorm was on the second floor, with their own locker/toilet areas, so the ladies’ area was completely private and safe. The treehouse theme was also a unique twist, which was reflected in the decor, and the layout of the capsule rooms. This is a great option for travellers on a low budget. Completely safe, clean, and relatively comfortable.

It was a single, but it was good to have a large table in the room. I didn't do anything using the table because I was almost in the room this time, but it seemed convenient for studying, working and eating. It was the first time to use a smart hotel, but it was easy because the room key was PIN type without managing the card key. The pillows in the room were hard and high, but it was good because it was perfect for me. Pillows are prepared in front of the front desk and can be borrowed freely, but when it is late, everything will be lent, so those who are particular about pillows should borrow pillows early. There was a large communal bath in the building, and I was able to soak in the bath slowly. It was also convenient to see how crowded the bathhouse was on the TV in the room. However, I think it would have been nice if there were guidance such as ”available in room clothes and indoor slippers” somewhere. I thought it was okay, but I wore slippers indoors, and I could use them in room clothes, etc., and there was no guide anywhere, so I changed into clothes just in case. It was a little troublesome there.
