We chose to stay here because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. Booked our room via Agoda however via Agoda, one can't really specify which room you will get, so when we got to the hotel to check in, the front desk said we were initially allocated a basement room but they upgraded us to a bigger room on the ground floor. We were happy to hear of the upgrade and we rolled our bags to the room on the same level as the front desk however when we opened the door to the room, we realized it was a room on street level with huge windows (think shopfront windows) where people walking on the street could look in through. We rolled our bags back to the front desk and asked for another room because we felt if we had to stay in this room, we would have to have the curtains drawn the whole time, which totally defeats the purpose of having big windows in the room. Luckily for us, the front staff obliged and they gave us a room on the 2nd floor. The room we got was really nice, lovely decor and it was pretty big. We had a nice view out the window of the rooftops of the town and of the old red building across from the hotel. We were pleased. We stayed at this hotel for the next 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Helsingborg. Breakfast spread was really good. We enjoyed the selection.

Clarion Sea U has just opened the gates and Miri Sumiq and his team has done an amazing work. This hotel is simply beyond good. We stayed the first night and everything simply worked and it felt so luxurious. Staff was extremely good and friendly and that is far from all nice with Sea U. Ama restaurant serves crazy nice food with the Japanese Peru fusion. Breakfast is better than all the clarion and you get an omelette beyond perfection. The rooms we had was so nice and we got the best possible platinum upgrade even if the hotel was full. The nice dipping rooftop pool is a must visit. And all design is simply perfect at this hotel. The location in Helsingborg city at the water side is amazing. I will be back many times!!! I simply vote this Best hotel in south Sweden!!

The hotel is extremely outdated. The interiors look old and poorly maintained. The breakfast buffet is very average, the only good thing were the pancakes. Croissants and all fresh bakery stuff were cold and didn’t taste fresh. The housekeeping service was very poor as there was only one lady managing an entire floor. Even after the room was cleaned the lady left the dirty towels on one of our couches! The room is dark and has no view! We went for a family room and yet the room looked small. The linen is clean. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Usually most scadanvian good and new hotels have very stylish interiors, this was just an old hotel in the middle of the city. Perhaps the location and the lady at the reception were the only two plus point. Wouldn’t recommend it and wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is not your usual type with very different styling. But the rooms are great and the staff ever so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They were very friendly and didn't expect us to speak Swedish (which was just as well). It was clean. Breakfast was excellent. Free coffee and biscuits/croissants available in the bar/reception throughout the day. It has a great, really old lift! The only downside was on Friday and Saturday night, they had a DJ and it was noisy, but as our room was out of the way we didn't notice. So if you want quiet ask for a room out the back. Note: there were no drawers in rooms and minimal hanging space.

This hotel is one of our favourites in Helsingborg, even though it's a little bit off from city center compared to other hotels. Service is always good and we were happy that we had the opportunity to charge our electric car over the night. We had a fairly small room this time but the beds are as comfy as always and the room is clean and well maintained. Breakfast has a lot to choose from and you can have an eggs Benedicte freshly made from the chef. This is a really good breakfast. Can't wait to get back here and have a relaxing weekend!

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times, normally the quality of the cleaning is okay. This time i got a room were the bed was made, but the sheets have not been changed. There were blood on the sheets and hairs in the beds. The bed cover was hanging on the coat rack and there was one glass by the sink in the bathroom. This really should'nt happen with a hotel chain like this. There is no question asked, when complaining to the front desk. I quickly got a new room that was clean.

The hotel is in the old building, in a very good location. The building has a very nice atmosphere. The service is professional and kind. The breakfasts are perfect, there is my favorite oat milk. Parking is available across the street, in another building. If I am ever in Helsingborg I will return to this hotel.
