Disabled rooms unsuitable for disabilities which don't require a wheelchair and very rude staff. No mobile signal. Ended up sleeping in the car beside the A14

Overall, the day was fine, but could do with major improvements on the room needs more of a homely feel found it very cold and basic. it was like staying on a hospital ward couldn’t fault the staff, very polite and helpful.

I travel all over country with work staying at various budget hotels, ideally I try to avoid travel lodges due to past experiences. The Wi-Fi isn’t great considering you have to pay for it and breakfast not worth the money for what you get, however, one staff member, Josh the supervisor, behind the bar/restaurant was a great exception to my experience, he was very helpful and polite and nothing to much. He’s a credit to that hotel.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay here, the staff were so polite and courteous. Room very clean as was the bathroom. The lift broke down which was a bit of a problem as I am disabled. The breakfast was good value and plenty of it, one slight moan is ths glasses in the bar were not very clean, probably from coming out of tge washer but not dried.

Room was clean enough but the bedding was dirty one bed had a big brown mark on the sheet the other bed had someone's used plaster stuck to the edge if the duvet cover the night manager seemed to fi d it funny !! And gave us sheets so replace ourselves Needless to say didn't sleep well won't be back !

Visit to see family. It covered all our needs. Very clean accommodation. All staff friendly and approachable. Reception staff could not do enough for you. Breakfast was OK. Bar service was good. There was a problem with the lift. It broke down Sunday midday. It was still not working when we left on Tuesday morning. I overheard staff stating it a common problem. On next visit will request ground floor room due to our health. The lodge did change our room on Sunday night and helped us move room.

Stayed for a weekend leisure break. The immediate area is non-descript, but was reasonably quiet and peaceful. There is a pub/restaurant nearby which is not affiliated to the hotel but was a great place to eat. We had a comfortable stay here, albeit we didn't notice until the morning we had only been given 1 bath towel. Free refills of tea/coffee were good. As with other travelodges, their free wifi for only 30 minutes is poor in comparison with other similar chain hotels.
