I will commence by stating that this is not my first visit to The Mariner's. It is and will be my first choice for staying in Haverfordwest. So, clearly, i have stayed in a large number of their rooms.
You have to know or remember that the building is historic having been in operation since 1625, so don't expext the rooms to be uniform in proportion. Having said that, they are generously sized with, for the most part, large and bright bathrooms. The room i had this time had the largest shower i have ever seen in any hotel. Simply stunning.
The location of the hotel perfect being close to the town centre and the castle.
The car park is also very good.
You will enjoy really good breakfast options and i can recommend the hotel bar / restaurant for an evening meal. Not expensive either.
The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.

A one night stay to Skomer Island, nice breakfast and close to shopping centre. A bit old fashioned but all conditions fine. No air condition if you’re really concern about heat wave.

Long established hotel, endeavouring to keep up to date with today’s market and standards.
We had a comfortable room and good service.
