This place is lovely! Only thing I would add is a soap dish in the shower so we don’t have to bend down to the floor when switching from shampoo to soap. Also, staff should not enter the room in the morning before check-out time, can we say “awkward”?

This property needs some TLC. However, it sits on a beautiful lake. Seems it might be for partiers and not for someone looking to relax. Rooms are dated, bathroom needs updated. Pets are welcomed. Checkin was simple and friendly.

Stay was okay but hotel is LOUD. My room was adjacent to the restaurant. Perhaps the door to the halkway could remain closed? I tried to but kept being propped open. Restauraht staff were running outside my door shouting and laughing. College dorm?

This is my second trip to Stoco Lake Lodge. The best draw is the quiet of the T**** area. But undoubtedly the staff and services contribute to that too. Everyone is friendly. Be advised that if you’re arriving late, you should call ahead to let them know so someone can let you into your room if you’re arriving mid week as we did. I forgot that and lucked out that there was still someone at the front desk at 6:30 pm on Tuesday night. The restaurant is still great. The duck wings are a local favourite. I loved the caramel apple cheesecake and my son devoured the brownie for dessert. We had massages on our last night and the massage therapist we saw was just fabulous. The only negative I’d note is that we stayed in the Deluxe Queen room and the building has shifted so the bathroom door doesn’t like to be entirely open or entirely closed. A little bit of sanding should fix that. We’ll be back regardless.

Beautiful site. Room was very nice but the bathroom VERY tired. Door would not shut, no water first evening, no hot water next morning, when all that was fixed waste release on the sink fell apart..looked under the sink and it was a botched job with tape and metal *****s!!!!!!not happy at all. Staff difficult to find but were all exellent and sympathetic...I blame the chief not the indians on this stay..bathroom my only complaint...oh could do with some sort of coffee/tea making facility in the room.

After thoroughly researching lodging facilities in the area, I made my booking (end Dec. '21)...directly with the Lodge. (By the way, I hugely recommend this method as it saves a hotel/motel facility a fair bit in fees). I chose the Lodge, based on its website portrayal and apparent amenities which looked cheery and inviting. It seemed a perfect choice to end a 4 day motorcycle trip with friends. Upon arrival, Natalie seemed genuinely surprised at our drowned-rat situation as we had be riding all day in torrential rains and heavy winds.  We were cold, wet and glad to be off the road. To Natalie's credit, she DID offer to run our sopping duds through the dryers which was muchly appreciated and would have made for a higher rating here. The problem however stems from the fact that what had drawn me to the Lodge, was, we discovered, not going to be part of the deal. She told us the pub was closed. So, no food or drink.  It wasn't as though we could pop next door; the nearest food was in T****, 20 minutes away) We were told we'd have to mount our bikes again in the still-pouring rain and find ourselves some place in T****. Given our state of mind and body, that was not going to happen. I tried calling a restaurant in T**** re delivery and got a terse response that they were NOT coming to Stoco Lake  Lodge. Lodge personnel were well-aware their services were 'down' but it appears.....they valued the 3 incoming room revenues over integrity. Bottom line: huge disappoin**ent.  No where near as advertised and further, the rooms seemed quite beaten from age and rough use. In the morning, the 3 of us felt fairly horrid from no food since noon the previous day. I was embarrassed at having made this choice. I have no idea how the Lodge could charge what they do. Poor value. Sincerely and factually, John F

Where to start.. We booked for a wedding. There would be no one at front desk so we were told our key would be given to another wedding guest to give to us. Really?? Meanwhile, there were room switches between the guests so we did not get the room we booked. It was much smaller and a queen size bed instead of king size. I don't know if it was dust or sand (small beach is near) but the floor was covered. There was no hot water for the shower and drain was full of hair and small junk. Gross. There was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on our little patio set outside our door. Good thing view was nice, food and drinks were good at the pub. To end it all, no one at front desk for check out. We had to flag someone who made a call. Terrible. Never again.

Property is great with the perfect location. However NO soundproofing at all. At 3am, bunch people had a loud conversation outside. It sounded like they were inside the room. At 5am, somebody started playing loud music in another room. No sleep at all!
