The guesthouse is located close to the centre of Harstad, a town not so very interesting itself but set in a beautiful area - best appreciated with a car or moped. I tried to book direct but their website crashed during the process - the shape of things to come. On arrival, I discovered that the code I hbad been given for the front door didn't work. However, a good shove opened the door but I couldn't access the key. Two other visitors (different room) had the same problem (only they hadn't even been given the door code). Phone calls to the owner were not answered (he had left the phone in the office - we could hear it ringing). SMS or emails were not immediately responded to either, so we could not get in. After about an hour, our messages were read and the owner sorted the access problem out. The rooms were average and there was a communal kitchen and dining area.
